I think given Jessie’s response to biting Ethan being “Now either you become one of us or he does” I think he have him more venom then Erica or Sarah or Rory got on purpose so he would skip the fledgling stage and become a full on vampire to explain why Ethan’s response was so different

But he was also the one who bit Sarah and she stayed a Fledgeling for a long time, unless he asked some other vampire of his gang to bite her but we don´t know if that´s the case

I do like your theory but I always thought Ethans reaction was so extreme simply because he was the only person we saw get bitten who was ALREADY supernatural. I always thought it was his supernatural blood that was trying to fight it. Like I would imagine Benny reacting the same cos he already has magic and the magic in his body would be trying to fight it. Idk that’s just always that I thought.

He was only scratched by a Weredog. In some mythologies, a scratch can change you, but in the show, it seems more like it was Benny's spell that turned him into a Werewolf.

I think a werewolf needs to be in their wolf state, in order to turn somebody into a werewolf. At least, I have read so. And the series also says it.

Faz sentido. Ethan faz coisas que outros seres sobrenaturais não fazem, como soltar os fantasmas, entrar em espelhos, entrar na mente dos outros, porque a energia sobrenatural dele é única, mas a série não teve temporadas o suficiente para explorar isto. Embora eu ache que se o Rory ou a Erika ou a Irmã do Ethan se tornasse um sere sobrenatural diferente teria dado algo mais, um tchan que talvez tivesse salvado a audiência, talvez se o Benny tivesse ganhado uma namorada bruxa ou de uma maga de um tipo rival, amor proibido entretém a audiência e aumenta os números.

I'm pretty sure Jesse just only unlocked his vampire genes and that's why he had that reaction. So pretty much Ethan was just already a vampire for a few seconds.

I just had a thought of what if the vampire bite from Jessie kick started his powers? We see Ethan getting more powerful quicker than even benny’s grandma thought. Maybe because Erica was a full vampire and had that same venom while Sarah didn't have the ability to turn people since she was only a fledgling. Kinda like a sponge, where since Erica was already full up on the venom she can't absorb any (probably due to poducing her own) and since Sarah didn't she still had room to take in the venom

A problem with your theory is that vampires cannot have children, this is something that the series already confirmed with the dialogues of many characters.

Maybe it could work if his grandfather was a fledgling instead of a full vampire? It could also explain the 'loser' line since he refused to full turn into a vampire and drink blood. It would also be another cool connection between Ethan and Sarah

BoyzHubUltra did a video on MBaV for halloween this year (you might know him from the Total Drama Izzy isn't crazy video), in the comments of his video a user named Kris Redd said their friend got an email back from the creators about where the show was planned to go. I'm just gonna copy paste that comment here: My friend was equally upset at the lack of an ending, so she emailed a bunch of the writers until she got a response. Here's the ending! "Hey, sorry for the slow response but at first I thought this was spam or something... Glad you enjoyed the show and it's been a LONG time since I thought about that climactic season ender. As showrunner and head-writer, I was mostly in charge of the stories and season 'arc', including the 'Lucifractor explosion'... I think I still have the Lucifractor prop somewhere in my office. (!) Actually the initial finale idea that 'everyone is trapped in a big explosion' came from the producer's budget concerns - they wanted me to make it possible to cut cast members in season 3. And we never imagined that we'd get cancelled after 2 seasons because the show was doing very well on Disney Channel (I think it was #1 or #2 in the ratings at the time). BUT it turns out Disney cancelled us anyway because they didn't own the show... My plan WAS to reveal a hidden portal or tunnel in the basement of the house - my memory's a little blurry here - and then I wanted to start season 3 with all our main characters being transported to either a) Some important Vampire Castle in Transylvania (so we could do a mini European adventure for a few episodes), OR they all get thrown back in time to the founding days WhiteChapel (1880's or so) when Jesse first showed and ran things... For a while there was a plan with Disney for us to do the Transylvania idea as a summer TV movie, and possibly an ending to the show/series. But all those plans fell through and we all moved on to other jobs. Sigh. THERE. I admit I feel bad about the way things ended, but a) the producers insisted and b) we were pretty confident there'd be a season 3 and I knew the writers and I would have fun coming up with interesting ways to solve the plot puzzle we'd given ourselves!"

On one hand it does mess with the timeline a bit because he mentions that White Chapel was founded around the 1880's not 1812, but also I think your theory goes really well with the group being sent back to the founding of White Chapel because then Ethan could've met his ancestor and found out that he was a vampire from him directly

I'm a little confused by your theory or maybe it's the way you worded it? You said an exchange of blood? Some mythologies do have it so the Vampire has to give you some of their blood to become a Vampire, whilst others have it where their venom changes you. I've never heard of anyone using venom and blood exchange, but that would an interesting thing to explore. In MBAV though, it's just venom that changes you into a fledgling and human blood makes you fully fledge. Now, maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but wouldn't an exchange of blood be Jesse giving Ethan some of his blood and Ethan giving Jesse some of his blood? Ethan only gets Jesse's venom, not his blood. Either way, I don't think that changes your theory fully, but a bite isn't a blood exchange.

This was my favorite show was sooooo freaking mad and disappointed when it got canceled especially on a cliffhanger. This theory is amazing and would explain alot but if he always had these seer powers how come they only just activated I get that he usually or really only gets them when he has contact with something supernatural, but then why wouldn't he have gotten them when he was with Benny because Benny is a witch/wizard/sorcer? whatever point is Benny is supernatural and both of them have been bff's for a really long like even before the vampires so why didn't Ethan ever get any visions when he was with Benny but I mean it could just be because Benny never activated his supernatural side until the vampires came I guess (and I just answered my own question)🤦🏽‍♀️😅 Also does this mean that Jane could also be a seer too? 🤔 😒

Benny is called a Spellmaster I think in the show. Benny is only ever beside him though, but he literally had vampire venom inside him in his blood and was bitten, that's pretty direct contact with the supernatural and could've left a lasting effect.

Based solely on the theory in the video: If Ethan’s great-great-great-grandfather was a vampire and Ethan is a descendent of a vampire/mortal relationship (aka a dhampir) maybe he needed a vampire connection specifically to “jumpstart” his, technically, vampire superpowers. His first vision comes from Sarah, a vampire. While Benny is a supernatural being, he’s a spellmaster- which Ethan would have no generational/genetic connection to. Maybe supernatural connection isn’t one entity that covers everything, but a collection of several different connections- unique to their own supernatural kind That’s what makes most sense to me! :)

In the movie Benny's grandma mentions that Ethan was supposed to get his seer powers during/around puberty. That's probably why it never affected him before high school.

@Samantha E. finally somebody asks me to explain instead of shutting me down🥺 well in the show we see Jesse is the only vampire who has blue eyes when he vamps out...which means he is really strong...so why throughout the whole series does he never just kill Ethans friends or even Ethan. I think it is because Jesse is actually Ethans Great Great xtimes Grandfather...which would explain several things...it would explain why Ethan is a seer and why he reacts completely different to Jesse's bite than everyone else. Also in the show Jesse says he knew Ethans grandfather and he was a "loser" but the human mob won the fight with the vampires,so the only real "loser" was Jesse

@Samantha E. it would also explain why he went through so much trouble trying to contact Ethan and even go as far as putting himself in danger to destroy the lucifractor in the last two episodes. He had never before put the needs of others above his own...he was safe trapped in the box buried underground...he coukd have just let them erase vampires and when someone released him build the vampire population back up as their one and only ruler(per Jesse fashion) instead of stopping it. Not to mention the fact that instead of leaving both Ethan and Benny to die when the lucifractor was about to explode he went back for Ethan and Benny

A vovó teve um passado sobrenatural muito parecido com a turma, então talvez o avô de Ethan tenha feito parte da turma da avó de Benny e por isto a senhora morava ao lado da família de Ethan. Fora que a irmã de Ethan faz magia várias vezes na série e Benny nos mostrar que é difícil fazer magia, pois seus feitiços as vezes dão muito errado, tipo quando ele transformou o Ethan num lobisomem imenso. Mas a irmã de Ethan, não, todas as vezes que ela usou magia ela sempre acertou o feitiço e fez o quê queria, mesmo que na vez que ela criou a boneca e deu muito errado para a turma, eles só conseguiriam desfazer quando a irmã de Ethan quis, então a irmãzinha de Ethan é um ser sobrenatural também. E na verdade, Jesse se preocupa com Sarah e ele volta a cidade por ela, mas ele não a ama, ele tem um misto de possessiva e colecionador, afinal vemos que Sarah tem uma força maior que de vampiros maduros, então o que ele ama em Sarah é seu potencial e a possessividade por ela já ter pertencido ao seu clã. Já Ethan não tivemos tempo o suficiente para o desenvolvimento. Teria sido bom se a série foss baseada num livro, assim era só ler 😢. Ethan é um medium, ao longo da série vemos ele manifestar cada vez mais poderes, também é tido que a avó de Benny é um sacerdotisa da Terra, então se as Bruxas são baseadas nos elementos da natureza, no encanto da bruxa cheerleader vemos ela cantar: forças da natureza, a estrela vão criar… logo nos vêm a mente: 5 elementos, as cinco pontas do pentagrama que a cheerleader faz, Terra (avó do Benny), Fogo (uma vestal talvez), Ar, Água e Éter, no Éter é uma matéria ligada ao espírito e ao universos e seres vivos. Então a avó do Benny séria uma bruxa que tira sua força da Terra, a Stephanie talvez tire do Éter e isto explicaria como ela absorveu por segundos as almas da escola inteira, então poderia ter outros tipos de bruxas. Também temos o cara que vira um cachorro, a Siren, os fantasmas que o Ethan sempre solta com sua energia psiquia, árvores e carros vivos…

Not in all lore in some they are a type of demon some just defy logic (just like how in this show they mention weakness to the sun but walk in it all the time). Hell of all things mentioned in this video Dhampirs is the most well established in vampire mythology.

I know it's been over two years since you made this video....but your theory doesn't make sense. Hasn't Sarah talked about the fact that Ethan and Benny will grow old, and have families, but she won't? It's implied that vampires can't have kids. Based on many scenes in this show, your theory doesn't add up at all. Most likely, his abilities were passed down.
