OK HERE'S THE THING, I TRULY STRUGGLE WITH ETHEL'S DICTION, SHE REALLY NEEDS TO TAKE UP STUDYING DICTION / PRONUNCIATION WITH HER WORD LYRICS. ALSO, SHE REALLY NEEDS TO NOT GAG ON THE MIKE, ITS HARD TO HEAR WHAT LANGUAGE SHE IS SINGING A SONG TO ???

I have absolutely no problem with her lyrics, especially compared to a lot of mainstream artists and especially male mainstream artists. Maybe it's the slight accent since I've also lived in the South (though she doesn't really have that pronounced an accent; she just drops the ends of ng words sometimes)? Occasionally I have to check a word or two, but like. Listen to some studio versions or check the lyrics, they'll sound incredibly obvious once you know them better.
