Unless you have a $100,000 mining setup , with 50 GPU’s , earning ETH frequently , I find it hard to believe ur mining effectively. It’s impossible to make profit under one GPU, since electricity rates are high and it would take far too much energy and time for one machine to solve such complex mathematical puzzles... and considering it would take 150 years to mine 1 ETH lol

You don’t mine on your own, only the big players do. Private miners join mining pools and combine their hashrate. The rest ist accurate though, to make anything substantial in that time one would need some serious setup!

It’s unclear how ETH will apply in real life. Look up “the Oracle problem.” There’s issues with tying a token to a real life thing, since the real life source is centralized and can lie. We don’t know how it will play out over time. Perhaps centralized businesses will adopt some of ETHs open source code

There are several Oracle blockchains now, complementary to Ethereum. the two biggest ones are Chainlink, and Band Protocol. They won't replace ETH, but seem to be complementary blockchains out there that can communicate outside sensor data, and consensus data to ETH smart contracts, that ETH contracts can resolve off of.
