Great recipe. I am making it for the second time tonight, but I wonder if you are using ground cardamon, or ground corriander? Listening to you, I think you are saying corerima, which I think translates to cardamon, but the video says corriander. Another question; I think that the video does not show ginger in the recipe, but you do talk about using garlic/ginger paste. Is either just garlic or both garlic and ginger fine to use? Last, do you have a blog or website with the recipe written out? It is easy enough to follow on the video, but it would easiest to see it in writing. I suppose I could type it out myself, but I am afraid I would forget a step. Lastly, thank you so much for sharing Mimi's cooking!

Thank you for your wonderful video. I'm going to try this tonight, using kale. Right now, I'm trying to make ful. I soaked dried lava beans overnight, then boiled them until they are soft, but the skins are a little tough. Wish me luck. I tried to make injera, but it was an inedible disaster.

Why do you start cooking the onion in a dry pan, then add the oil?

@spreadjoyoflife5 жыл бұрын
We also use ginger garlic paste - so yes, you can add a hint of ginger. As you know ginger can be over powering so when in doubt - use less. (Thank you for watching)

Thanks so much for this! In the beginning you say "cardamom" - then later you say "coriander" - I think it must be coriander - but could you please let me know? If cardamom, was it black or green. THANK YOU!!!
@EthioMimiskitchen10 жыл бұрын
Gia I apologize for the late reply and you are right, I meant to say coriander - i'll blame it on the intoxicating aroma of the spices that i can't get my thoughts together lol - glad you were listening though - thank you for watching.
