@@kaptainkafir6231 No you idiot. If you do some in depth reading about the history if the Kurds, it shows me they are not indeginous to Iraq; their ethnicity and language us persian with their own dialects. Therefore, they were nomadic people that reached across the Middle east However, they got semi-autonomous over a deal for peace with Iraq out of the civil war. The Assyrians are a Semitic people with their language and people comes from the same as Arabic and Arabs as a whole. Plus, they do not want their own separate government as a majority. You on the other hand are deflecting from your own issue for the support of land that does not belong to you when your lineage comes from Eastern Europe, which is not a semitic language or tribe. The indeginious people that REFER to them as Palestinians were and still are because they were in Canaan for generations. They are semitic tribes of all the nations that resided in Canaan, not you.

As an Iraqi, I haven’t committed any crime against our nee brothers. The demonising of Jews and the demonology was introduced by Brits. Just like they have divided the ethnicity of the Pashtuns and Kurds. The Brits divided and ruled many continents. Listen to Sir Avi Shlaim’s lectures and interviews. I am from Iraq, my elders tells me stories about how pleasant Iraq used to be. Regardless of religious values, Christians, Jews and Muslims lived like brothers. They would celebrate each others holidays and religious events. It was the Brits that introduced anti-semitism.

You dont know and I am sure dont care for the real facts, thats why your dont make any sense. The iraqi jews are not arabs they are hebrews. The official ethnicity of Jews in Israel is Jewish. It is divided like this: Citizenship: Israeli Nationality: Jewish. Religion: Jewish. Ethnicity and nationality are the same in Israel. An Arab would be Citizenship: Israeli. Nationality Arab. Religion Muslim/Christian. These are the words used officially. There are no Iraqis officially in Israel. And it is not an ethnicity. Just citizenship. You are the one calling them " Iraqis by ethnicity".

Maybe some one can tell me why, and I’m trying to keep an open mind about this, why I find the question “Would you go back to ...., unsettling (no pun intended) 1. I have never heard anyone answer yes to this question 2. Something sounds illogical, if there grandparents left, and they were born there, but these people, who don’t speak the language, or like the music (or almost any aspect of the culture in question. 3. It seems to question ones Zionism 4.Why would someone leave a relatively successful, advanced democracy, for the dictatorships 5. Why don’t Americans,Canadians and other s from Universal countries get asked the same question?
@ellebelle8515 Жыл бұрын
As a 65 year old Canadian whose mother and father were born in Soviet Russia, I want to answer question #5. Except for the First Nations people, all North Americans are immigrants. During the Stalinist period my parents families (a Germanic people who had lived in Russia for more than 100 years) suffered genocide just as the Jewish people did. Knowing the bones of so many victims lie under cemented and paved roads or mass graves of Soviet Russia, I think that many of my parents' family members tried not to talk or think about Russia too much although some did visit in their old ages. As a first generation Canadian, I would love to visit some day, but I still have hard feelings for what so many went through and the fact that the Russian government never made apologies for the past atrocities committed against so many of their citizens.
