You can delete that chunk in MCEdit and generate it again. That should fix the problem. The process will destroy everything that is built there, but you can then fix that in creative or with MCEdit. Or you can do it the hardcore way, in survival :D

Josh Marshall Now that we know how it's corrupted, it would be prudent to repair it, even if Etho uses methods that seem like cheating. Right now, the corrupted chunk is a materials source. So far we've seen it _eat_ blocks and villagers, but the flipside is also true: if Etho removes something from the chunk, the next time the chunk loads it will return. At a glance he has infinite iron and iron bars, stone bricks, nether brick, glowstone, dirt/grass, signs, sandstone, doors, wood planks, levers, trapdoors, obsidian (portal on surface) and villagers.

well looks like you have an infinite supply of glowstone, just mine the glowstone where the blacksmith is and you can easily reset the trades of other villagers in the chunk. (I think it would work)

If that glowstone in front of the door is in the corrupted chunk, would you theoretically be able to farm the glowstone? It would replace the blocks took when you leave and come back. However, I know that glowstone isn't exactly scarce and Etho doesn't like cheaty methods of getting things.

Etho, you should challenge yourself to make a redstone project without using actual redstone dust, like you did with the ice farm. You could try it out in the new base just for fun. I would love to see you trying to accomplish things like AND gates using things like boats and minecarts! The difference between SethBling's redstone and Etho's redstone is that Etho's redstone is more old fashioned, i.e. Etho's redstone is more based on pistons while Sethbling's redstone is more based on command blocks.

Etho, a way to make the steve skin to your ethoskin permanent ( even without internet), is: Download the default minecraft texturepack, open it, go to assets>minecraft>textures>entity scroll down to "Steve" and then change the "Steve" skin to a downloaded Etho skin. Then using the texturepack, your skin will automaticly become Etho whenever your network is down. Nice video, keep on doing your great work 😀

They didn't. The "Tiga" is now separate from... well you could call it a "Snowy Tiga", the old Tiga is just the snowy trees and such, without Snow. So when he updated, that Tiga got converted and now it no longer Snows/Freezes Ice.

Etho, you can repair the chunk with MCEdit. Make a backup first, just in case it doesn't work right, and open the world in MCEdit, press Ctrl+i and select 'repair regions' or 'region repair' or whatever it says to that nature. It'll repair the chunk to what it should be according to your world seed. That'll probably suck, considering how old your current world is, but arguably it's better than having a corrupt chunk in your world. And if it's just the one chunk, it shouldn't be too terribly difficult to adjust it to fit within the terrain of your world as it is. I had to do this on my server to fix a corrupted chunk, and lucky for me it didn't intersect anything important. Hope this helps, and good luck with your internets.

This episode might be inspiration for me right now. In my long term survival world I’ve had a small kinda sucky ice farm for a long time and I’ve been putting off replacing it bc it works ok. But either 1.18 or 1.18.1 seems to have changed the height that water freezes at in the old mountains, so I’ve gotta make a new one soon.

About your problem with expanding the potion lab for newer potions you could turn one into an universal brewing station with 8 chests of original ingredients with an item frame and comparator selector, 2 chests with a lever to chose between extending or level2ing. You would put the original ingredient in one chest, pufferfish in the next and rabbit foot in the next. This would leave 5 slots for upcoming potions which is also the amount of positive effects with no potion (yet). I hope you read this, thanks if you do and hope this helps.
