That dream world, man. That was pretty awesome. I do like the pentatonic scale way better. I was sort of confused as to why you were using the chromatic scale to begin with, haha. A minor scare would sound pretty neat for the End. Although, depending on the type of minor scare you use, it may sound pretty dissonant. Dissonant can be nice.

My biggest problem with Minecraft isn't it's complexity/simplicity, it's how long it takes to say, clear land, or build something as simple and unimpressive as a wall. Maybe initially it's not that bad, but when you stack all that time together, it's nuts how long it takes. I really like certain mods for those reasons, like Single Player Commands. I only wish some of those mods would take the resources out of your inventory so it wasn't so you could use them in survival mode without being cheaty. I'd love it if Minecraft implemented maybe like villager builders or miners so you could enter a building mode like in The Sims, where you just drag and stretch a wall, then exit and watch them build, yet still have the option to add the details yourself after the foundations are placed.

Rossomak94 I feel the same way actually. I think survival minecraft would benefit greatly from having some sort of building, removing, copying, and replacing mechanics, maybe at the cost of coal to operate. It's one of my favorite things about the mod packs I've tried. Something like the wand of equal trade just saves so much time and let's you focus on doing what you want instead of the grindy aspects of the game.

The genius of minecraft is that it is as simple or complex as you want it to be. Etho, being an uberkind, squeezes every last bit of functionality out of the mechanics and makes beautiful things. ***** Yeah, it feels like many of these mechanics weren't really planned with an elaborate, long term world in mind. Mobs moving blocks and spawning unexpectedly are still a nice touch in shorter, more survival-oriented playthroughs. Perhaps a good idea would be to allow an on/off toggle in the world creation menu.

Just for clarity, the pentatonic scale can be called either minor or major, the only difference is the starting note, for example C-D-E-G-A is a major pentatonic, but starting from A (so A-C-D-E-G) it becomes minor. But, since the notes order is completely randomized, calling it major or minor doesn't make any sense, because there's is no fixed bass. So, use the creepier scale (whole tone), I think it fits better with the end!

Ow the nostalgia, chocolate island, the clay, the E.A.T.S. road all in one episode! But, I'll break the dream, It wasn't the real clay because he had the exact same items, with exact same durability and more importantly the wooden slabs would've been glitched out if it was a new update so it differs which means *long silence* He mc edited the world, or the island onto a new world. Hey Etho. I just have a suggestion for the lower levels in your base (i.e. the cave area's with lava). You could keep the same style but instead of using grass and wood you could use Netherrack and Nether Brick (grass turning into Netherrack and wood turning into Nether Brick). I just thought it could be a nice way of changing the colours to a more appropriate aesthetic to compliment the flowing lava.

Jack Frost When etho first started his LP in episode one, he had a different world, the world in the video. There was a big patch of clay right next to his spawn point but he didnt mine it even though everyone told him to. But he just left it there the entire 100 episodes that he was in that world just to tourement everyone.
