You know how you like stuff in your base being a secret and hidden away? Well I guess MCGamer done a great job of hiding your actual 'Etho Corp' building away with all those trees he planted around it xD It actually looked pretty cool too, as it added to the whole 'hidden' effect you go for, but I know you've said before about wanting your place there to be seen, and not have even little lights outside blocking it in places haha! Talking about things being hidden away, that's a cool little secret skeleton farm you have setup too, and with a fast super-speed pathway for travelling there :P

Snapshot 12w50a: Protection is no longer as effective as the other protection enchantments combined. This is from the wiki, and is shown in one of Etho's single-player videos. It means that Projectile Protection blocks more arrow damage than Protection, Fire Protection blocks more fire damage than Protection, and Blast Protection blocks more explosion damage than Protection.

The water was set up by Seth because before the dispensers, water would always be pushing you but, now the water is placed by the dispenser when you leave the platform.

Looking at the ground 'is' looking where you're going. Looking straight forward and straight down are equally bad, an angle slightly higher than halfway between them is optimal. That's how you avoid stepping on things and see where you're going at the same time.

You are now a forester Etho XD , got to love them endermen farms, also ender pearls are great with feather fallen boots. It would be a good idea for a beacon at the enderman farm so people can heal while they kill :D . The farm for food is also a good idea, until the next vid.

You know, I've noticed slowly that Etho and MC are really alike; Awesome people, two of the smartest (Besides Mr. Zisteau, Pak, and Seth), and by far two of the three biggest trolls (The other obviously being Pause)

The swamp is the only place you can bone-meal the ground to get the flowers, but the flower forest is the place to go to get all the new flowers, you just have to find it. And the newest update doesn't have the new flowers, the newest snapshot does...

There are 4 "Protection" enchantments, including normal Protection. You could do something like putting normal Protection on your chest-plate, Fire Protection on your leggings, Projectile Protection on your helmet, and Blast Protection on your boots. You could actually put them on whatever armor pieces you want. Also, I think you mean "So YOU'RE going to..."

The items in the enderchest are player specific, only Etho can see his items just like only Pause can see Pause's items. The data is tied to the player's bin file. You can have to people looking into the same enderchest but they'll each see a different inventory.

The number of enchantments matters alot as well etho, 2 enchantments on something is ideal, since it makes it easier to repair and still works well. The difference is like 15-20 vs 35-39 levels. Assuming the tools were named right after they were created.

He intends to flood it after it is cleared. It's to make sure other mobs don't spawn (they can't spawn in water) as that will increase efficiency on his witch farm.

He is correct, the different enchantments have different levels that offer better luck getting the enchantment.

If you have Fire, Projectile and Blast protection IV in three separate armor pieces, you'll have 11 points of protection against projectiles and blasts, 9 points against fire and nothing against melee damage. If you have three pieces with Protection IV in each, you'll have 15 points against everything. So Protection is still the best unless you only need protection against just a single damage source.

Etho! You should prank doc, if he hasn't already flooded the witch farm perimeter, you should build a miniature Etho's Arch there! Leave some signs saying that you were preparing for the flood, that notch had told you (since he played on the server) to do it as there would be a flood, and maybe have 2 of each animal in minecraft in the arch!

Yes you can, all you have to do is enderpearl through the bedrock ceiling then you have a flat ground with air blocks above to build the beacon.

You just build them. In the new snapshots portals are no longer limited to 3x2 (or 5x4 if you coun the blocks). There is a limit, so you can't make endless portals, but you see for yourself how big you make them.

I can tell that a few people will not like this but I think it would be cool. When they restart the server to begin a new season whenever they do that, I think that some people should move off the island that they are currently on establish a new continent at a new island. Then when they end it, they could go to war, Last team standing wins, and is declared winner of the season. I know that some if not most people won't like this idea, but I just think it would be cool, so don't hate.

I believe the achievement where you have to shoot a skeleton used to be really tough because it would be out of render distance then. Or maybe it was just my old computer not being able to handle far render distance very well. Also, I'm pretty sure that achievement has been bugged and impossible to get for a while.

If you enchant level five books you have a great chance of getting feather falling. Combine a few of those with an anvil and soon you will have feather falling four.

yes you are. Not sure but I think it was like you can't have any airblocks or other type of solid blocks between the beacon and the ceiling. I think netherrack was ok. Wouldn't quote me though if I were you. Only thing Iäm sure about is the fact that you can have beacons in the nether.

It was actually a bug caused by mining too fast with efficiency 5 and haste from the beacon/ There was an invisible block of stone and when he placed the gravel there, the stone re-appeared and removed the gravel. It is very annoying

How would the enderchest know which person the stuff from the hopper belongs to? In FTB (not sure of the actual mod), ender chests have a sort of color code. But that also means that you can look at other people's chests in their house, or you can set their code on your chest and grab their stuff anywhere you like. But I agree. Double Enderchests would be really useful. Better yet. A single, upgraded version that has a double chest inventory, yet is only 1 block in size.

Etho the water is there so enderman don't spawn on the spawn platform and kill you but when you spawn on the spawn platform it destroys everything in a 5 by 5 square (might be more or less) so after you leave the platform the water is put down again and you don't have to go through it

Uhm. There is if you watch the video in the bigger format or even full screen. Since the original video is not 360 but much higher quality, there is definately a difference between each of the quality settings.
