The First Remote Controlled TV

What year was this video recorded in? I find it interesting that the remote for this TV set has direct access buttons for brightness, fine tuning, tint and colour, of course on modern TV sets most of these functions are only accessible via a menu system, not as quick or easy as this, but to be fair how many times does the average TV user even change those settings once they're set up correctly? Perhaps it's now just as well those options are on menus now.
