marHaba ustaadha, يَرْحَمُكُم الله is always said even when speaking to one person, just like السلام عليكم ?
@SpeakShamiArabicАй бұрын
Marhaba! Yes that’s right, even though يَرْحَمُكُم is conjugated for the plural second person, it can be said to a single individual out of respect, inclusivity, and cultural custom. You drew a perfect similarity with عليكم.
