I BREATH-LIVE WOOD!!! Literally... i am a carpenter/shaper, i build hollow wooden surf/sup boards and live in Madeira (WOOD) Island. In the Middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Back in the days we would mimic WOOD on painted kitchen cabinets almost the same way. What a great looking Helmet to Ride downhill on my Rockhopper!!! Another great job ETOE.

Another seriously #SICK job ! As always attention to detail is pushed to the limit. Well, what would I do with it to answer your question ? Probably enjoying it first of all, and then obviously taking in on the local French trails. Maybe a bit of show off with my friends haha ... Could also be a nice way to be recognizable among other riders during enduro races. I'm currently trying to paint a POC helmet inspired by your methods, but it'll probably not be as good as this one... Anyways, great job !

Hello Martin ( @ETOE), another great work from your workshop! The details are just amazing, it's not just regular piece of wood people would find in the forest. This right here is piece of wood that doesn't get to be burnt but shredded! Anyways, #sick design you made here will all the small details. I especially love the Fox logo with wood grain. You nailed the design as always!

Hi Martin, this is a little late but what do you do with a matte finish that's scraping off? I have a black matte Bell SuperAir mt bike helmet that I want to refinish but it's got this film covering it that turns pale white when in contact with water, it looks rather #sick. I can scrape it off with my finger nail and would like to remove it with a solvent or cleaner but I don't want to damage the substrate/helmet.

That's a #sick paint job! It reminds me of the TNT wooden crates from Crash Bandicoot! If I was lucky enough to get picked I would wear it everywhere! For starters, I'd wear it to bed, I'd eat my meals with it on, I'd go out with that helmet on, I'd drive with it on, I'd definitely would ride my bike with it. Can't be too safe out there!
