I was lucky enough to live in Louisville when Al took over the NRBQ guitar slot from Steve Ferguson. I was lucky enough to see both of them many times.

I have looked at a few of these e-town clips and it seems Mrs. E-town is always reading down her lyrics...even if its just a brief refrain, even if that refrain is repeated several times in the song, she's always got her eyeballs on the music stand. Doesn't she show up for rehearsals? Short-term memory problem? I realize it is a "radio program", but apparently it is filmed...people are watching!

Big Al Anderson goin' nuts. Man, what a joyful talent he is. And according to me, Al came from the South, in CT, which is south of me in MA. It's all relative. ;)

Hot guitar, Big Al. And then there is the other Al Anderson, the so-called 'Jimi Hendrix of Reggae' - was with a Long Island band called 'Full Hand', then played with Bob Marley for several years. Wonder if any of the latter's work is on youtube??
