Thanks, gave me the confidence to do it, though that spring was much more springy than I thought. Took me a while to get that compressed, much smaller space than the coupler in the video, but very helpful video.

Very helpful as I wasn't watching carefully when I took it apart.

THANK YOU. I just did mine this morning. I followed your video a T. I just don't understand binding. ?

If your latch is binding, you may have the nut on the bottom too tight or you may need to spray the latch with some white lithium grease and open a close it a few times to loosen it up. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/etrailer/CT-2000-RK.html

@@etrailer thank you. I'm testing it this weekend but I didn't understand what binding meant. Thanks for explaining

You saved my ass with 3:15. I couldn't figure out how to get the spring in place with the bolt all the way down. Never occured to me to back it out some.

What kind of grease? I am fixing this tomorrow

You can use some white lithium grease or bearing grease to ensure smooth operation. www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/etrailer/CT-2000-RK.html
