The 4-wire connector does not fit in the round hole. I had to cut the hole approximately 3/8 inch to one side to get the connector through.

How did you run the flat plug down under the car, none of the grommets are big enough and I’d imagine drilling isn’t an option because then my grommet won’t fit

ok instead of threading the black cord all the way up to the front battery, could you just connect to the 2nd DC port in the trunk?

It is not recommended to run the power wire to the 12V outlet in the trunk area. The reason for this is that you could easily overload the factory fuse for that outlet and blow it. This would cause you to lose all functioning of your trailer lights. That is why it is only recommended to run the power wire directly to the positive post on the battery. www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/CURT/C56369.html

How'd you get the 4poled wire through the grommet hole? When I took the grommet out the hole was too small for the end to pass through
@etrailer2 жыл бұрын
If you can't find a larger grommet that the 4 pole will fit through, you may need to open up a hole a bit to fit it through. www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit-Vehicle-Wiring/CURT/C56369.html

I have no idea how he put the wire or the trailer down that small hole

Just completed the install. Not so bad. Making the hole for the 4 plug bigger wasn’t so bad. Not as bad as the trailer install. Ready to haul!
