This is pretty much the best FOE battle theme ever. Even though this is a remix, it sounds even better than the original, like it was truly meant to be FM!

I love the way each of the themes posted was in a different flavour of FM synth. This one is definitely most like SQ3 or SQ5 - it really reminds me of the battle themes of those games, especially the SQ5 last stratum battle theme in FM.

When you're composing your songs, do you think of how they are gonna sound like in a FM version? Or do you focus mainly on the orchestral version, and then think of the FM version after? Thanks for sharing those, I love your music

Thanks for your comment. After the Etrian Odyssey 4, I make the orchestral version at first and then re-arrange it to the FM version.
