Excellent FM guitar. Very thrash metal. It's impressive that an FM guitar can sound better than some real guitars. Of course there are limitations of what techniques can be emulated with FM guitar. Palm muting and power chords are easy enough to replicate, but things start to get tricky with bends, pinch harmonics, finger tapping, etc.

Clark Nichols it’s not an abbreviation. FM actually means “FM synthesis sound chip” developed mainly by YAMAHA in the 80s. Many Japanese arcade games used this sound chip at the time.Please check YM2151 on the Wikipedia for details.
