I was excited about these coming out since HK mags cost so darn much, now the mags are here and the ammo costs too much.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry at this truth you're spittin' out right now. It's unfortunate indeed!

I have a zenith z5k. 2 of the original mags dont want to go in without pulling a little on the mag release with my thumb. One original mag goes in perfectly. Not sure why, all are original. Just bought 5 of these ets mags for $20 each. Have not used them yet but did a loaded mag drop test and all rounds stayed in and no damage to the mags. So far, so good

That's unfortunate about your factory mags. I haven't had any issues with my factory mags so far. Hopefully the ETS mags work well for you!

A few comments: Having ETS experience with Glock mags, do these bulge with full loading, and if so, are they difficult to seat when full? How are the feed lips after using them? I notice my steel mags get dinged up in my clone, so wondering how these hold up. Will an HK mag coupler work with these? Do they offer follower coloring for mag identification?

1) I didn't notice any bulging with full mags. 2) I didn't notice any abnormal difficulty seating the mag when it's full. Is it going to be harder to seat a full mag? Yes. Is it moreso than other mags? Not that I noticed, personally. 3) Feed lips have been fine with my use so far. I'm not dumping thousands of rounds through them and chucking them onto concrete, though. But normal wear has been fine in my experience. 4) ETS' website states that their mags work with MP5 mag couplers, but I did not test this myself. 5) It doesn't look like they currently offer different colored mag followers for the MP5 mags.

Do you know Sean Burrows? You guys go to the same range by the looks of it

Unfortunately not. I hadn't even heard of him until you asked. Looked him up. Looks like maybe the same mountain side but the video I saw of him shooting at some steel at distance doesn't look where I go. Might be somewhere near though. Hard to tell for sure.

What’s your optic set up on that MP5? Do you use a co witness mount, if so please let me know. Thanks.

In this video it's an Athlon Optics Midas TSR1 red dot sight on top of a Midwest Industries top rail. I don't remember if this set up had a co-witness but I doubt it. Now it has a Holosun HS510C optic on the same MI top rail. No co-witness. Links to those optics on my website if you want to support me :) armatisreviews.com/optics.html thanks for watching!

What is your light mount
@ArmatisReviews3 жыл бұрын
Midwest Industries MP5k Top Rail, then an MLOK offset pic rail mount: amzn.to/2YKvbHD then the light is a Crimson Trace that came with a light mount.
