I actually noticed that an AI car was really close to the outside of the lane but though it was a bug! Natural AI brings a lot of life into the game.

@@resadrecebli2263 If you look at traffic queue in the video, you see all cars still wait in a perfectly straight line and distance between cars are the same. I guess you never looked how traffic queue in real life? No one can wait in a perfectly straight line, it's also impossible to drive and stop in a perfect straight line in real life. Also it's still unrealistic that everyone car stop exactly 1 - 2 inches behind the stop line.

@@automation7295 it's also a tiny detail that literally makes no difference for the majority of people. sure, it's a nice thing to have that makes the ai feel slightly more realistic, but it doesn't change anything important about the game. the ai has always been decent, and the fact that they are still using the same ai as they did over 10 years ago (and it's still holding up against other newer games) just shows how good it was.

Been watching lately the AI traffic is more aggressive now....kinda like real life....thy dont just stop mile away if ur turning thy close in and stop..... Game is getting real better👌🏻

Not good enough, every AI traffic wait in line perfect straight. In real life, it's impossible to drive and stop in a perfect straight line. Also every AI traffic still stop at exact distance from the stop line or the bumper other car. If you look at traffic queues in real life, you see that all cars are spaced out differently.

I encountered a couple of problems in ETS2 a week or so ago. The first one I was following a truck for a few miles, and then all of a sudden, it disappeared right in front of me, then another drive and I came across some traffic stuck a truck reversed hit me and the trailer jumped up in the air bounced about

Hopefully they add more traffic as well. Most of the time it feels like I'm driving through a dessert. And fix AI's understanding of right of way. It constantly gets my truck damaged which gets expensive in ets2

Maybe a traffic density setting would be better,. Already notice more traffic than before and it'll use up hardware resources plus some of us like to escape the real world congestion and people always being in the way... to each their own which is why a traffic density toggle is needed.

There is a traffic density setting. g_traffic 0 (off) 1 (1x that traffic density) 2(2x) etc etc. But increasing this screws with the train and will end up making you sit at the tracks as the train will be in an endless loop.

the biggest issue they cant solve for years seems to be the highway merging, they are not as smart as TML ai when density is high. also the ramp is too short in some old areas, this is the most frustrating one

It’s fairly often that when I’m in a roundabout, merging traffic doesn’t seem to notice I’m there and drives straight into my trailer damaging it and the cargo. So annoying. Most of the time now, I just full send it through to the exit

Трафик будет выезжать на кольцо если вы включили правый поворотник, т.к. он думает что вы сойдете на ближайшем съезде. Если кольцо двухполосное, трафик с внутренней полосы также всегда ждет вас когда вы двигаетесь по внешней полосе перед тем как съехать или перестроиться

I agree 100% that the on ramps are way too short and most definitely don't flow gradually into on coming traffic. It's been the same exact way since Haulin'. On ramp traffic very often yield to oncoming traffic as they should, instead of yielding on ramp traffic will barrel into you almost every time. This has got to change.

man these things are making 1.49 better and better, so how many trucks total have the new suspension is it just 3? volvo, western star, and "upcoming mack"?? i drive a peterbilt mostly so i hadn't really noticed anything being iv'e been away from the game awhile im unsure what i've missed in the last year or so. been trying to find vids to catch up lmao.

I thought about the ai cars just yesterday. I was wondering if there's a mod to make them go a bit more all over the lane, then I saw a few cars unaligned and I was like WTH? However, is it intentional when cars and trucks just randomly stops in the middle of the road? I've had queues in the middle of nowhere, and when I got tired of it and went around, the cars are just standing there... no hazard lights or anything... They are a bit dumber as well, I feel like they crash into eachother and me as well a lot more now than before, only me?

What is about the “natural” ai when in the same picture, you can see that all the traffic goes in one direction but because of congestion, the game stops spawning on the other side? That is way more frustrating. Maybe SCS will fix this.

The AI in ATS is serious broken. Lost count how many times I’ve had car slam into side my trailer when I’m hauling 90,000 lb or more. As if AI don’t even see it. I’ve been in left lane and had car try switch to right into left, right into my trailer. Also had lost count seen cars switching back and forth from right to left for no reason and nobody else around them. AI in ATS is broken.
