Etsy's Fee Increase - A Message from goimagine

Great message Jon. I sell on Etsy, have my own website and I now sell on GoImagine. I made a decision this morning to scale back on Etsy and put more of my products on GoImagine. I did this for two reasons, 1. I believe in GoImagine's mission. 2. My items are primarily one of a kind. My fees on Etsy have gone up and up over the years, but I haven't found the support from Etsy that I had there 7 years ago. Grateful for all GoImagine is doing for makers and also to promote a caring economy.

I like how goimagine only promotes handmade. Esty is over saturated with too many of the same & so many products are not handmade. Not to mention the high fees.... Thank you for this video🖒

I think sellers wouldn't be so mad if they hadnt gotten rid of seller support last year and then now raising fees. So far people don't believe etsy will put that money into support.

I'm on Etsy too, and it's allowed me to turn my metal work into my full time job...but right now I'm waiting on Stripe so I can add a shop on GoImagine. I need to be in a handmade community as well.

Not just fees, they also put unnecessary reserves on seller accounts. I have been on Etsy for five years and I have been through the fees increases and now they just put a reserve on my account and Im almost a star seller and I've been a five star seller for years. I bet all the drop shippers arent getting reserves.

Great video Jon. We still on planning on selling on Etsy along with Goimagine and other venues. We are adding the increase into the pricing.
