Etsy Seller Scams Part 1

I think I got one of those today asking for my email to finish the transaction but I never saw the listing as even looked at on my end, then I got a message through Etsy support basically saying the same thing about needing an email and verification is this a scam?

Yep, that’s a scam. The person is impersonating Etsy. I fell for it too, until I realized thst real messages from actual Etsy should appear under “From Etsy”

I saw another one where scammers target stores who got shut down promising to re open your shop for a fee of course. And In the end Don’t do anything.

In canva i'd recommend to create a box for the text (shortcut "r") instead of the text effect, looks better in general

Does Etsy normally when I accept the money from a customer let you do that trial transaction through the bank ? Because they want to do it with me for 888$

Also, they ask for an email to take communication outside of etsy. Never leave etsy or open links!

Fu..k fu..ks , I just started today and them sending about email and all, luckily I was smart and didn't go trough the process till the end. Also got a message, pop-up like oooh some banks will show you will be paying customer but it is basically money will come to your account bla bla.. I could just smell something weird and aborted and if I didn't I would loose 700+ euros
