This was super helpful. I have heard some of this information from others but it didn't gel until yesterday when I watched your SEO teaching. It made a lot of sense to me and I was able to work on the research all day today. I would also love to part of the Inner Circle. My husband and I worked in the real estate business for the past 30+ years and was planning to continue - however our work went from a good income to zero in the past 2 years. We both love crafting so purchased a laser engraving machine and have some success but not enough to pay the bills. Also, it is super time intensive. I still work a normal job. I was honored to serve and would do it all over again. Light bulbs are going off in my head. This video is PURE GOLD! I just reworked one of my titles the way that you suggested (I installed the Everbee Chrome extension) and overlapped my LTK. Have you ever added up the searches of the keywords (2+ keywords, excluding searches for single word keywords that are super broad like "mug")? This reworked title initially only had 15,748 searches and after I reworked it per your advice the count went up to 26, 686. It went up over 10K!!!! That's a HUGE difference! I can't thank you enough! Maybe my store will finally start to take off! One thing I need clarification on........ The above listing is for a mug for certain profession. I'm torn about adding "name of profession" Christmas Gift in my title as that also gives the broad keyword of Christmas Gift which is NOT relevant because it is a profession specific item. You mentioned in the video that "broad tags can be costly for your business" in regards to tags but does that also apply to titles? Should I work in Christmas Gift or is that too broad considering it is a profession based gift? Thanks so much for all the value that you are providing! You are making such a difference!

Amazing!!! So glad you are getting great value from the series so far! Regarding your keyword question, remind yourself that your goal is to stay as relevant as possible while still maximizing your search volume. So with that being said something like: “Nurse Christmas” or “Nurse Christmas Gift” (if the profession was a nurse) would be suitable. Now with this you will want to prioritize the best events first and foremost which in the case could be nurse appreciation being more beneficial. If you are struggling to get it in your title that you can just use one tag for it as well, but all that being said you absolutely can put a Christmas term somewhere in your title as long as the descriptive term goes in front of it! 💪🏼

Jesse, this was a great video and I can see how this method would reap great benefits in search. I've watched you and Stephen over the last couple of years and have learned a lot and tried to implement various methods you both share. In 2017, I started with a general store; however, it became apparent to me back then that my customers preferred a specific niche I designed for and have focused on that niche ever since. One more question if I use your method to change my tags and titles will it affect the algorithm if they been out there for a year already? Should I wait or just do it in time for quarter 4? Luv ur videos

Hi Jesse! I would like to enter your Etsy course giveaway as I think I could learn a lot from you! Your You Tube videos are by far some of the most helpful that I've come across. I'm fairly new in my POD journey and my store has been open about 8 months. I have almost a 100 sales and I really want to take it to the next level. I have spent the first part of my journey throwing low caliber spaghetti at the wall and I've clearly been watching the wrong You Tube channels. Thanks to Steven from Hello Custom for introducing me to your channel I finally am starting to see the direction that I should be heading in and you have helped to provide systems to implement. Hi Jesse, thanks for this video! But shouldn’t we check the competition rate? You’ve selected the most competitive keywords. How would that work for newbies?

@@rashelginzburg Great question! When key-wording your product RELEVANCY matters the most. So if you try to branch into keywords that have “low competition” you will likely lower your click through rate and conversion rate along with the amount of search volume you are leveraging. So like I say in this training, once you have solidified there is demand for the product you are creating you should then revert to relevancy with your key-wording process so that your title, tags, and front photo/product are all one in the same. Your long tail keywords will also be lower competition naturally so you get the best of both worlds. Remember, your business is fueled by PROPERLY leveraging search volume. Hope this helps! 📈🏆

I don't think everbee is correct in their search volume estimates...I made copies of some items and did AB testing with the second having high search low competion titles (according to everbee) they are not doing we'll am doing getting no views (I know they can Sale bc the titles I made myself do).

I made a switch in 2023 to go all in on serving my clients in ICP with strategic product types and world class POD education. We grew very quickly and I want to give 100% to what I do now. I peaked at around $3,500,000/year on Etsy and Amazon and moved into the next chapter of my journey which is where I am today. It was a big shift but it is what I am called to do!

@Jesse Teaches: You do not need repeating keywords like "mom" in your sample. Only one time is needed. So you did not understand the logic of Etsy right.

I hear what you are saying, and you would be right when saying “you do not NEED to”. However, Etsy recognizes phrase exact terms as more relevant than broad match. So the pros and cons are you can more easily rank for a term if it is in a phrase exact format however, you are taking up more keyword real estate by using the same word multiple times. So with that being said it is up to you to determine which is most important based on the product you are launching. With My 4 Etsy shops: WimlyMugs WimlyApparel WimlyLittles SigmoCreations I have used this exact strategy and have generated 425,000 sales. Hope this helps and best of luck! 📈🙌🏼🏆

Hey Jesse I would like to be part of your giveaway. My name is Shaun and I'm 17. For a while now, Ive been looking for ways to make money online from FBA to drop shipping to SMMA to SAAS and nothing has really clicked or gone anywhere. Upon searching for another business model, I stumbled onto print on demand. Out of all the things I've looked at, I am confident that print on demand best fits me. I have a knack for designing but also understand that the rest of the other elements are as, or if not, more important than the design itself. I've been grinding this model for about two weeks now and have been working multiple hours a day on it and have been gradually increasing these numbers to where I am today of about 4-5 hours a day. Additionally, any free time I have besides this is dedicated to learning more about POD such as videos like this. So far I have around 50 quality designs in the gym/fitness niche and pretty much all the mockups done for them.
