ktkska 888 第一，华人一般指在它国的本土汉族少数民族，新加坡的汉族又不是少数民族，而是独立建国的主体民族，没有必要强化自己是华人是中国人的群体意识。 第二，新加坡想做老大心就有点大了，真的不太现实，除非新加坡武装吞并马来西亚和印尼，如果做得到，顺手捎带个菲律宾什么的也不叫个事儿，但是事实上显然是做不到的。 第三，作为主体民族而不能在官方反应其语言文字等特征性符号，本身就是少数民族对主体民族的不平等。更何况还是用英语做官方语言，殖民地气息太重，显然不能满足成为强国的必备心理因素。

空軍我不知道,但地面部隊素質高我親眼所見,來台打演習的星光部隊,我去支援兩次近四個月,雖然沒遇到特種兵,但普通步兵裝備及訓練,人員素質,還有日常生活,我全都仔細觀察,個人認為遠超本國軍,且交談交流,我發現新加坡人蠻愛國的(是像美國人那種愛國),對國家有愛有榮譽心,軍隊才會強,至於台灣,民國101年後還當過兵的懂我要表達什麼...就差沒放在那邊給它爛~

One thing for sure. Taiwan did provided land for Singapore army training in the past. But the agreement was amended/ cancelled due to Taiwan & China relationship, and not to further complicate the matter as 3rd party. That is why we heard lesser story of Taiwan training trip. As for who built up the Singapore Air Force. It is definitely not Taiwan but Israel. I dont know where the host came up with the story. Google "Israel of South East Asia" to find out more.

The Singapore Navy chief in the 1980s was a formerly trained in Taiwan Naval academy officer. His name was Khoo Eng An. Singapore government requested him from Taiwan to run plan and build up the future navy. I know cos i served from 1982 to 1990 in RSN

Israel helped Singapore trained the SAF in the beginning but Taiwanese developed the Air Defence System in areas such as logistics, Israel had probably in tactical area (so were Taiwanese too). Taiwan played a major role in grooming the RSAF, Some of their top notch pilots were flying here for many years too. They took over the control and Singapore watched and learned, they contributed enormously. Singapore owed a great deal to Taiwan. Be grateful, I forgive you if you did not know the right facts.

Taiwan allows Singapore to have their base there. I once had my armoured training in Taiwan. The convoy of a battalion is so long that it covers from Woodlands to Sentosa, so we have to do it in Taiwan. Taiwanese are very friendly and helpful people.

Growing up in the early 70s, I did remember that my mom had a Taiwanese friend whose husband was a Taiwanese Air Force Pilot based in SG and there were numerous Taiwanese trainers but the the RSAF was never never ever built by the Taiwanese. Neither was the Army nor the Navy. We have the Israelis to thank for all that. I don't lnow where this Taiwanese show and hosts get their information from.

Come On! Singapore's military does not disclose their abilities nor saying how good they are to the public. Every men have to serve the military for the sake of defending the country , as u could see from the map that Singapore is surrounded by Indonesia and Malaysia, Singapore is small ,without natural resources and gov needs to be wise in every move they made. that is what made Today Singapore! There's nothing to compare to a small island. If wanna do comparison , I suggest compare it 1:1 which equivalent to the size of the country. Singapore with only nearly to 600m compare to 1.3b ,what is there to compare with? This Episode was aired by Taiwan's media. They said Good and Bad stuffs without doing a proper research. I believe they have a few episodes bout China's military & stuffs. Just don't take it seriously. Everyone is proud of their country, likewise, I am a Singaporean, served in the infantry during my NS. be it singapore will be gone in 7 hours or not , when time comes, I know I have to load the gun and fight till death for the sake of my country. up2wind81 Haha. What military experience do you have? Combat unit? If so please get down your high horse and throw away the pride your SGTs, CPTs and LTCs brainwashed you into believing. Are you an expert in military analysis? How many military classics have you read before? Do you even know what is the most important aspect of an army? Do you even know the basics of warfare? I may not be an expert but i definitely have more experience and knowledge in those areas which I have mentioned. Also, Indonesia have the 2nd/3rd best military in ASEAN, and Singapore isn't in the top 3. Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia. And of course China isn't the same as before, it's stronger now and in fact leading in several areas which the US military have no equal or defense to. Good examples are the DF31 & 41 missiles anti-satellite and anti-aircraft carrier variants, China's air defense, radar and submarine stealth are the best in the world as well as developing twp 5th gen jets in half the time of the US F35 project. Also, need i remind you that during the Korean war, China alone push the UN forces back to Pusan, almost taking over the whole of s.Korea and pushed them back back to the 38th after the UN offensive. The US was losing so badly that they wanted to nuke China. An important thing to note is the Korean war was only 2 years after the Chinese civil war unofficially ended, meaning China is still in shambles both economically and militarily, in fact China was in shambles ever since 1937 but yet held against the Japanese ALONE, as well as fought against the UN in Korea and Vietnam. That is what you call impressive, a technologically inferior army winning against state of the art military technologies, China had a lousy logistic supply, almost no air support or armour regiments but yet was superior against the US. Claiming citing WW2 is useless is the most obvious sign of your lack of knowledge in warfare, so please, before embarrassing yourself more, shut the fuck up. In fact, the US, Russian and Chinese doctrines are still centered around WW2 experience as it's core because this was the only time the various nations have gone through actual total war with relatively modern combat. And sadly for you, WW2 have way more stuff to learn from than you think there is, hell, even wars from 3000 years ago have lessons to be learnt. Here's a quote for you: "Rule 1, on page 1 of the book of war, is: "Do not march on Moscow". Various people have tried it, Napoleon and Hitler, and it is no good. That is the first rule. I do not know whether your Lordships will know Rule 2 of war. It is: "Do not go fighting with your land armies in China". It is a vast country, with no clearly defined objectives." - Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery, victor of El Alamein, Egypt, World War 2.

强的字眼是被外媒扣上的，就利用这机会，多说一些，希望可以解除一些误会，误解。 关于任何防止罪案。制止，是最先，最好的方法，一旦列出后果后，，还是有人故意违反的话，那就怨不得了。那就是法制的治理。如果因为是外国人的话，就不用鞭刑，可以有特权的话，那么，当地人发生同样的事，犯了同样的法律。就很难执行了啊。 也有人说，新加坡的国父，李光耀是独裁者。真的是的话，那就比较一下。 世界上的领袖，被扣上是独裁者的帽子，有很多。史达林，毛泽东，卡达菲 等都有。差别是，在他们逝世的时候。有多少国家的领袖会哀悼。参与葬礼，或是公开表示赞赏，或是惋惜等的言语。真的是独裁者的话，哪会有那么多国家的领袖原意跟他接触，合作，对话啊？ 借此就多说一点，希望可以解除误会，请原谅，忍耐一点。 本地的国防也被拿来比较，所以也有误会了。 好战，不是新加坡的正式立场。被扣上 ’强‘， 被拿来 比较 是外媒干的事。本地的教训是为了止战，最坏的打算 而演变成今天的成就，那是根据时间，趋势的需求指定的。没有要围堵神马国家，或是侵略的意思。我也不是为了成名，出名才在这里贴上评论。我只是希望可以减少外人对新加坡的误解，误会罢了。 这是当时历史所给予新加坡的情况，是因为当时的情况，因素而制定的政策。 在中国的军事交流演习，是近几年才开始的。早在70年代的时候，当时李光耀总理访问内地时，华国锋就问了为何到台湾进行演习而不到中国。中国的地方更大。李光耀总理说，好啊。只要你们可以接纳，我们也愿意到内地租用场地练习的。因为本地地方太小，只要是有其它国家原意借出训练场地，我们都愿意洽谈的，那次对话后，就没有下文，一直到近几年才有回应。这只是原由的来处。所以，除了三个固定的演习场所，剩下的你可以简单快速的当做是 交流演习，被应邀的就不会乱了。 新加坡的部队，空军是以正规战而建立的。所谓的正规战，就是当，像日战的时候，一个国家从北要打到本地，南部那样的情况而定。还有一层是，新马有个条约，就像 5国联防那样。要是再发生正规战的时候，一旦有国家从北部往下要侵略的话，一旦打到马来西亚最北段。那就相当于跟新加坡开战，这个条约，是有报道过的。 一旦明白这个条约的责任，义务就不难想象，明白为何本地需要强大的空军了。因为一旦在北部开战的话，新加坡最快的支援就是空军啊。新马两个国家在签这个条约时都明白，马来西亚有马六甲海峡，就应该以发展海军为先，本地则是空军，这样就能互相帮助。政治归政治，国防归国防，这是两国领导人都知道的，所以在某些政策上两国有不同见解时，意见不合时的 ’ 吵架‘ 是不会影响到，真的有外国要使用正规战往北打下的责任的。 许多外界人士不明白本地建军的原由，就胡乱炒作，乱说。 就跟所有国家一样，有军队就是跟想要，有意要占领当地国家的人说，当地的国家，是不会 束手就擒的基本概念，本地也一样啊。本地的军队，主要是以防卫为主的。所有的，机械，比如自己研发的坦克之类的，都是以本地的环境量身定制。不一定适合在其他国家，地区运用的。 本地没有天然资源，所以要在技术，科技上开条出路。引进新的武器之类的，除了防卫用途，就是要研究那种系统的建造方法，然后看看是否可以用在其它领域上，如，商业的，制造业的等。 本地的军队，是没有执法权的，就是说，不管发生神马事情，都是警察先处理，直到部长下令，把 执法权暂时交到部队的指挥官身上，才能运行，事情解决后，就回到原来的状态。所以，部队不不可能随便用来 喊打喊杀的。 网上喊打喊杀的人太多了，我记得当兵的时候，所受的教育，责任是什么。当了 7 年的正规军人，20年的后备，虽然退役了，我还记得我们当兵的责任。 要拉一下扣板，让已经上膛的枪支发射子弹，三岁小孩的食指力量就可以了。但是我受训的时候，则是就算发生需要开枪的状况，可以的话，就不拉扣板，那是需要有自律的。这就是为何本地部队，是用来防卫，而不是好战的。 令人误解的就是海军基地。这个美军的海军基地，不是用来堵住中国的，这个基地的决定，早在90年代，当美军要退出菲力宾的基地时，就被批准了。当时，就是 90 年代的时候，面对的威胁，根本不是 ’所谓‘ 的中国，现在也不是。当时，是因为苏联，就是还没解体时的俄罗斯。当时，苏联以为自己是个大国，就蛮横的没经过批准，就要把军舰，驶入本地跟马六甲海峡。当时就是因为有了 美军的第七舰队在菲力宾，才没发生。当时的总理就知道需要 美军的力量，才能保住本地及东南亚的稳定。 基地，不是外人理解的那样。跟日本，韩国当时非礼宾美军所设立的基地是不一样的，基地在别处，是由美军自己管理，在本地则不是。所谓的基地，就是一个补给点，维修的地方。新加坡的土地面积太小了，根本不能让美军的士兵们长期驻扎。一艘航空母舰上的人数，平均是 6500 为士兵。真的住宅在这里的话，根本没有地方让他们训练，所以根本就不可能啊。可以供给给本地的军训场地，最多就只能容纳一个营的数量，不到 1000 个。所以本地才会在世界各地找地方来训练啊。 所以，请大家多理解，明白事情的原因。很多决定，是按照当时的需求而定，不能用现在的眼光来看待的，还有很多误解，就像这些，也是因为不理解照成的。 新加坡人没有敌视马来西亚人，那是一些，请看清楚，我说 ‘一些’ 无聊或是不成熟的人所为，不能一概而论，一只竹竿扫全船而下定论。我本身也有很多马来西亚的朋友，互相探访的时候，就会自动抢着付酒席的钱，那不是要看谁的钱多，而是一种互信的尊敬。 至于一些误解，可是因为不理解所照成的，就像一下的一些。 萝卜白菜，各有所爱。‘好’ 的定义，在每个人的脑海里都不一样。我是土生土长的新加坡人，但是历史教育我，知道神马叫做国家。国家，国家，，先有国，再来说家。我们是以国家为先，不是族群或是宗教。打着种族或是宗教旗号的。属于极端，少数的。比如，有些极端的穆斯林，会拿着宗教的旗号，煽动，呼吁‘圣战’。好在本地跟南北的两个穆斯林国家，没有采纳这类极端思想。有些，，请看清楚，我是说有些。有些华人就会拿着汉族的旗号，说一定要亲华。一定要跟着中国，因为我们是汉人。 可是呢，历史却不是这样的。70年代的时候，当时的总理李光耀会见 华国锋时，就被问到，为何是汉族，却不亲华？李总理反问了，‘要是承认新加坡是属于中国的，出事的时候，比如有战争。中国会援助，解救吗？华国锋回答了，历史跟地理位置显示，新加坡不属于中国的，不能够。 1979 年的时候，邓小平访问新加坡的时候，也重复了这个说法，新加坡，不是，也不能成为中国的土地。那么，人家执政的人都说了不是也不可以。现在中国崛起了（是好事） 就一定要新加坡跟着？说，’老大，收留我们吧‘？ 不只是 中国。美国也说了，要我们执行，跟他们一样的某些政策。总理也问了，’你会负责本地人名的福利，生活吗？会把我们纳入美国土地吗？他们也说，不能。这就是为何，要成立家庭，建国，就要自己当地的人民，先自己站的住，站起来，面对当地所有的挑战，走出自己的道路，让人民可以过日子。 我们做到了，用的是适合本地环境，地理位置的方法。真的要利用民族或是宗教旗帜来煽动暴乱，不满导致社会不和谐的。成功率是极低，可以说没有的。宗教跟族群言论是非常敏感，没有成熟，理智的言论可能引发暴露。历史也教过我们了。所谓的‘言论自由’ 有个小框号。 没经过大脑 要说什么就说什么的‘言论自由’，那是在西方国家才可以应许，问题是，你看看他们的言论自由里，包含了，煽动暴乱，极端见解。不明白的人，就会借用这类列子，来作为先例。做出真的暴动，扰民事件。 本地的 言论自由，包含了‘责任’，因为我们真的拥护民主，自由。乱说话，没有真凭实据的话，在法律上，就属于 毁谤。毁谤的话，对方就可以告你，这就是最基本的民主。 网络交流，一个人的言论，就能看出一个人的品性，知识及涵养。可以作为楷模，典范的学习对象，那才是我个人希望可以认识的。 我只是新加坡的一份子，不是新加坡。所以，‘有些’ 的词组，请看清楚，别乱喷。可以的话，就请大家运用 ‘有些’ 或是 ‘一些；某某人，某某国家的人来形容，那就不会照成误解了。 历史知识不到位，有欠缺的地方，请大家纠正，指教。先谢谢大家了。 顺祝大家，安康。

I believe you can find him with another name appearing in a video about Singapore finance and proclaims that he has degree in Economic and had spent 7 years in the finance sector. You may also find him in video about Singapore food and see him condemning Singapore food as junk, and professes to be in the food industry and holds a degree in catering service.
