EU4 Broken Timurids Exploit - Easy True Heir of Timur

A few things I forgot to mention in the video - 1. You could attack Ladakh rather than Baluchistan as they are tribal also and smaller, but be wary of their allies. 2. Make sure to break all of your alliances and delete all your troops as Transoxiana before releasing the Timurids. 3. During the independence war, occupy the capital as soon as possible and just wait until you automatically get 100% warscore. All of the vassals will be disloyal, but will fight you if you try to siege them so don’t bother with them. 4. One of the hordes to the North may attack you after or during the independence war so you may have to give away a couple of provinces. It happened to me, but it’s not a big deal. 5. Don't go for another Sikh conversion after reaching the 5th tier of government reforms or it will bug out and you won't be able to take barbaric despoilers. (I think it works fine after you've taken barbaric despoilers normally).

Couple..? Nogai wanted 7 from me, so i merced up and managed to peace them out with 40 warscore. If Chagatai is the war leader, i imagine it's harder. Now let's see if it's possible to get the vassals under control, i couldent straight out attack Ajam, since he was allied with Uzbek, and no vassal are gonna help me. Really nice guide tho!

Could you perhaps reply on how to keep the “release vassal screen open”? I either seem to close it always or be unable to open a new window (rendering DOW impossible). Thanks!

You need to be playing on patch 1.30.6 You can choose which patch you play with by right clicking eu4 on the sidebar on steam and clicking betas and selecting 1.30.6

Having some difficulty with this: Khorasan and Fars took the lands I wanted them to, but Afganistan keeps taking Herat and leaving me with Ferah, to the South, as well as my cores. Is there a way around this? Is it down to RNG which provinces they grab?

Update - I thought perhaps the issue might have been that I had a claim on the Sistan area, making Afghanistan think I wanted Ferah, so I tried again without completing the mission which gave that claim - still, the Afghans took Herat and left me with Ferah.

Not with current patch. You can't click the X and still have the window still be up, clicking the X now closes the whole window, and if you don't click X, you can't declear any war.
