Tried it 4 times. I get independence at the same time Delhi kills Sirhind and Kashmir and every time they ally Bengal as well some other semi strong indian nation like Mewar or Mawla.

Honestly, I think that the easiest (not the fastest) way to get this achievement is to just play Afghanistan into Mughals regularly for fun and eventually you'll just get it as you get better at playing in the region and predicting ai's behavior. Trying to follow a specific guide will just leave you frustrated when random shit happens that makes it impossible to follow perfectly.

Inno first, then Offensive and Espionage (in no particular order) seems to be the single player meta. If you enjoy playing "tall-ish" (full states, some TC states while staying within gov. capacity)

that's a good combo for a minor nation (especially in hre), for a major espionage is less useful. I prefer to take Inno, then offensive/quality (depends if I need a good navy) then either the other one or eco/infrastructure. Whether I take inno first or offensive/quality first depends on my mana generation and how much I need to core. Trade is overkill in sp but if you're new to the game and suck at economy it can save you. Also, for a tall game inno first is better than infrastructure first. The -10dev for infrastructure is just 5 less mana per click and early game you don't click a lot anyways, inno first is -60 for tech, later on +3 mana per free policy, and cheaper advisors allowing you to start printing mana early which translates to more clicks. For example, let's say for a 100 years you have a 0/0/0 and not enough money for lv1 advisors w/o inno but just enough with and dev click stays 50 per click (base cost), default mana generation is 9 or 12 (with estates) per month Infrastructure: 12[base+estates]*12[months]*100[years]/(50-5)[mana/click] = 320 Inno: 15[base+estates+lv1 advisors]*12*100/50 = 360 Not to mention that the way advisor cost stacks usually means that you can get even higher lv advisors much faster and -10 tech cost would save around another 60*10/50=12 clicks

The only meta picks for an aggressively wide campaign are Admin, Diplo and maybe Religious or Influence. Any other ideas are giving you indirect benefits, those 2 + 2 are directly reducing coring cost, war score cost, aggressive expansion, unjustified demands and annexation cost, which are all the major bottlenecks. With the 1.35 update, Admin, Influence, Quality is an extremely strong opener in regions with a lot of releasable tags like India since you can stack upto -65% annexation cost easily.

I did this achievement in the previous patch, ended up very stable as well. Formed Mughals and bulldozed through India. The key was to just keep the unrest low and avoid forming coalitions.

I nearly go the achievement years ago as Afghanistan (it's the only nation that builds visually pleasing borders), but a new expansion dropped and killed my save; maybe it's time to try again.

I once tried to get it as Tranx, but I failed. I tried with Afg and got it first try. It was some years ago, so I cannot explain why. What I remember is that it was surprisingly easy, I think I got all India by 1530.

It depends. How and not. Currently, any of these countries can get a Mamluk alliance. Fars you have access to Hormuz. Which means that you can immediately earn money on trading. The difficulty is getting to Delhi quickly. Transoxiana has the strongest armies and ideas. It takes 2 years more to get to Delhi than Afghanistan.

As I understood in the beggining of the beggining , you can increase the chance of getting a mission with a reduced cost advisor through Call for diet . Anyone could please explain me how it works ?

If your manpower is low, there’s a high chance that the nobility mission will be to get your manpower up to 50%. The trick here is to recruit all the troops you can (bringing your manpower to zero), call the diet, select that mission, then cancel recruitment (this will refund all ducats and manpower back). Mission complete, enjoy the cheaper advisor

And the second way on the administrative advisor. It's always when you have at least 1 loan you have a chance for an advisor -50% of the cost.
