A very good in-depth guide for Governing cap, thank you so much for this. There are no good gov cap guides except this one.

Great video. Gobbled too much land in my Poland-Commonwealth Campaign and having trouble with my governing cap due to 1000+ dev around the 1530s. I'm gonna have to refrain from diplo-annexing my chunky vassals next time and instead wait for tech and administrative ideas.
@UprightKnightGaming2 жыл бұрын
The vassal swarm is always effective while you wait for more governing capacity :D

@@UprightKnightGaming it is a good practice to take vassals anyway when you subjugate or release one that has many cores. The casus belli will reduce the AE by tons in the war to reconquer those 'lost' cores. You'll be much faster expanding, especially early on (mind the loyalty though, grow your army yourself too especially, and keep up tech)

Forgot that you can use government reform points on your states. Every 100 give 20 capacity per state.

Good call out. So many things in this game, it's easy to miss something!

I noticed that for some reason that even when my province isnt stated, it still costs exactly the same amount of governing cap, same with trading companies. Now it says that on the state view but I'm pretty sure that when I unstated a bunch of stuff I noticed my governing points thing go down, so yeah, another bug

in the building view on provinces it is displayed correctly, i think...

@@ericlundquist3466 Yeah, I was going to get it when it came out but I seemed to be really buggy from what I heard, so I had held off. Planning on getting it soon. Would you say it's more stable now?

Do any of the Great Projects help with Governing Capacity?

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the one in Madrid I believe gives you some govering cap. There may be more though.

Most of the info in the video is still good. There is new stuff obviously since new dlc come out so regularly.
