14:38 the country doesn't have two different names. One is the noun, the other is the adjective. it just has a somewhat irregular adjective form - "chernihiv" rather than "chernogovian" or whatever

*Always take separate the boyars from the court if you are a ruasian principality. It gives govt power, which gives manpower, ICA, rebel suppresion and few other bonuses. The only time you should avoid it is when you have better unique reforms*

At the time however the Ukrainian language did not exist yet and the linguistic shift from using the slavic “g” to “h” would not happen for centuries to come. Chernigov wouldve been the correct spelling during the period of eu4.

@@Korrus_ this unification was valid for proto-slavic language and h/g separation occured much earlier than you think. (accoring to the russian scientist Abbayev even in the times of Scyths). The first documented manuscript in Ukrainian (middle Ukrainian) is Peresopnytsia gospel (1556) and it already hasd separate letters г/ґ for h/g. But the main point is that EU4 does not have 100% historical linguistical accuracy and in most cases just use modern names of provinces/cities etc. For example, Kharkiv/Kharkov did not even exist in 1444 and noone cares.

The two names are just the Russian version (Chernigov) and the Ukrainian one (Chernihiv). Kinda like Kiev and Kyiv

Are you at war? Do you have 200/1000 ducats? Do the provinces with trade centres have 10/25 development? And the number of tier 3 trade centres you can have is equal to your merchants.

I don't understand why you think that Lithuanian realesebels are hard. Poland can't PU Lithuania(at least not via event) if at any point Player was at Lithuania, so if you realising yourself from Lithuania they van have Alliance with Poles but not PU
