That's normal. Burgundian Inheritance means that if the Duke of Burgundy dies there's a chance the country gets split between France and either Castile/Spain or Austria. Hence in history you have the Dutch revolt against their Habsburg overlords, and why the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V was born and raised in Flanders.

If you take religious ideas and have conquest of Jerusalem and Mecca as Catholic that's 4 missionaries and if you take a few decisions about 7% missionary strength. Then Jerusalem ideas give you another missionary and 2% more missionary strength. You can churn out conversions really quickly like that and since you're Catholic your True Faith tolerance will reduce unrest a lot. You might have to deal with rebellions every so often but if you raise autonomy plus what I just said it's super easy to never get rebels.

using the right strategy calls and a bit of luck can earn you bigh rewards in eu4, i have managed to win wars against countries with superior numbers than me just by blitzing them

Secured an alliance with Austria, Hungary and Lithuania early on and due to this the Ottomans did not dare to attack. I did not defeat the Mamluks head on, I just blitz sieged the holy land before they were able to kill my troops. The war was against Cyprus and because I had occupied their capital I was able to demand Jerusalem from them instead of the mamluks.

It's 1725 in my current campaign- started as a Custom 200 point Nation (Imperium) that replaced Crimea, same Provinces but Orthodox and of course I mostly had military ideas. Our games look very similar though I think in the end you'll have gotten a bit farther with a harder starting point. Great video! I like the commentary!
