I think it would be fair if there would be outside support in the german civil war, like monarchies and non aligned dictatorships (Poland, Lithuania etc.) to support the Military Junta, Poland even maybe annexing some land (East Silesia?) to reduce strength of the Nazi threat. Italy could support Hitler, but I doubt it since the supplies would have to either go through water or Neutral Austria.
