If in 1337 someone said that "Russia" was divided into many principalities, everyone would wonder what is the "Russia" you are talking about. Talking about "Russia" and "Russian culture" in 1337 is like talking about England and English culture in the first century BC.

That's why the comments being upset about having so many east Slavic cultures was funny to me. There were so many principalities back then and even more before the Tatars came

@@PardonerJauffre yes, but why use the term "Russian culture" when you can use the much more historically appropriate term "Rus culture".

@@Pawel274 The Kievan Rus will rise again! It must be my first playthrough, hehe. Though in the context of using the term "Rus culture" I could see the logic in having one massive blob culture. Though it would be rather odd and feel un natural to have a single culture going from West of Kiev to almost reaching Perm
