Euchre - Let's Play Games Episode 5

Hello and thank you for watching me play Euchre poorly! For this session, I decided to be over-the-top aggressive with my calls and plays. I know I made poor decisions, but I wanted to test the waters and see what would happen. This little series has provided me the opportunity to learn a lot about the game I've enjoyed casually for so many years. I hope to share that learning with you as well.

That was abhorrent ordering the jack to your partner with 1 trump especially 4 suited. If your partner was inclined to turn it down you're likely getting euchred not to mention you're taking away their ability to go alone. Just let them decide

2:09 you should have never called that. In Stick the Dealer you want to force your opponent into a bad call 3:33 you ruined your partner's loner by calling it on nothing. 4:30 That was not a loner. You had weak Trump and poor offsuit, it just worked out that you drew out the Left and the Ace was buried. You only got three tricks. 5:50 had you led one of your two spades your partner could have trumped in and defeated your opponent's Ace of Spades. 9:10 It was the right call to pass. If you put a Trump into the opponent's hand, they likely have a second one and the dealer is in the power seat. Not only that, but if it goes around, you had a good hand in Clubs. NEVER lead the right, or any Trump, when your opponent calls it. (There are very rare occasions where leading Trump in this situation is smart, this is not one of them. You played into your opponent's hand by showing him the right and allowing him to throw away his lowest Trump while bleeding your partner of Trump. 11:30 Never order up on one trump, even with the right. Your opponent might pick it up anyways. You got extremely lucky to not get euchred. 13:00 You have three hearts and an offsuit Ace, you should always call with that hand. 14:25 I still wouldn't order that up. You need a strong hand to order it up. You called it into your opponent's hand (Though it didn't matter this time as they only needed one point). 17:35 You should have thrown your weak offsuit to give your partner a chance to Trump it. Leading your last Trump drained them of Trump. 18:00 Do not order your partner up with only the Left 19:00 Diamonds was stronger than Clubs for you, plus if your opponent passes a red card, they are likely stronger in black. 21:20 Only two with one being a nine and weak offsuit is a risky call. 22:45 You shouldn't Trump in with your biggest Trump. It was a good call, you just played it wrong. 24:30 Right decision to tun down the Jack, you had nothing to go with it You can't get overly aggressive calling it. Honestly there are a lot of ways to play the game, but the biggest thing that can help you is signal cards. Paying attention to what is being discarded to give u some insight on where certain cards may be. Always as a quick side note, the opposite two suits of whatever is called for trump are stronger suits for aces, even if u have more cards.

6:15 hurt to watch, 2 suited always try and get the non Trump ace out (could be partners or they have to waste a trump) and then Trump when they play a strong heart/Diamond. This also leaves your leftover non Trump card to play after trumping which has to suck out another trump aswell. I like your commentary on everything, this game can be so brutal :') Just watched your commentary after. Your partner would've played the Queen trumping his ace of spade. Then he would have to trump the ace of diamond (or have a diamond) which you could either trump with the J over ace or play K of spade. Easy 2 points hehe
