Thanks so much for this video! It hit on a lot of things that I've been wondering about while reviewing Eufy's product page for this item. I really appreciate you showing the notifications and the app, because that part is nearly impossible to tell from their website! Your video definitely is the last push I needed to order this.

Thank you for making this video. I’ve had a SkyBell non subscription since 2018 and it worked flawlessly until this month. I believe they’ve gone to subscription service if you want current notifications because I can see past activity but not current anymore. I’ll be getting the Eufy doorbell based on your helpful video.

I bought mine during Covid to monitor my delivery and deter porch pirates. It was amazing and things worked great including the fact that you didn't have to pay for monitoring fees, in fact, I was so thrilled about it that 4 other members of my family bought one!...well...that was 2 years ago, and now mine doesn't recognize any wifi networks anymore despite deleting and re-installing the software over a dozen times ! So...called customer service...HA!!...what a joke...they recognize the issues and all I got was 25% off my next purchase ! Oh....also now my sons unit is also during the same. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT AT ALL !!!

Mine didn’t come with a plug in chime , but it is connected to my doorbell chime in home. I’m liking this device so far.

I really appreciate all the prior thought you put into making this review... Especially the listing of subscription fees for the basically top five doorbell/ home surveillance systems.... The one question I have is not regarding the doorbell range portion, which you had covered explicitly in your review... I'm curious about the home surveillance systems distance, what is the range for the cameras Wi-Fi connection as well.. All your fine work is appreciated,.. thank you

can you turn off/disable the fisheye effect that produces images using extreme visual distortion so that they appear hemispherical or as very wide panoramas?

what's the point having a video doorbell with no cloud storage? if you need this doorbell to be some kind of security option for your house then cloud storage is mandatory, isn't it?

Except, that in order to review the footage, you have to remove the SD card, and review the footage, correct? Does the footage overwrite with a prompt? Does it record 24/7? or just upon movement detection?

I've had mine for a year, i like it, but I don't like that it doesn't capture and record my voice when I'm using the two way audio with people at my door. Another thing, when I open the live view to answer the doorbell it cuts off my Bluetooth headsets.

Hi, can the storage be backed up somehow? I mean, if someone stole the doorbell, the local storage is inside the doorbell so would vanish 😭

I read on their website that your data would not be accessed if stolen cause you have to be logged into your account to access/delete saved videos. Check out their website and FAQ

I am having problems with push notifications. I am getting nothing on my phone when the doorbell is pressed or motion detection. Installed today and have no clue. I really like it this doorbell but its driving my crazy.

Hi WyattTech, I’m looking to purchase the Eufy 2K doorbell especially as it’s Amazon Prime day. I’ve been in two minds for a while to buy one, but l was a bit put off when l one of the reviews on Amazon which mentioned that the doorbell can be ‘unclipped’ since it is not secured in any way. Please could you confirm if this is true or not?

Hey mate. I bought the battery version of this that I’m looking to hardwire. I’m just not sure about my transformer as it was installed prob decades ago. It’s an Arlec Bell and Chime Transformer with 240V 50hz /5-16v 1A. Would this be sufficient?

I have two of them. Liked them very much until the microphone died. Since it died on both of them after about 1 year each, I guess it could be a product failure, or just bad luck on my side.

Have been using the wired 2K for a while now, started fine but lately, without any change in network etc., it started acting up. No connectivity when trying to remotely view the camera after a doorbell press and als ghost pressing, doorbell goes off without anybody in the neighbourhood. (Have another cam outside to confirm no kids ffing around) Eufy has been keeping me busy with their standard check this and that protocol on multiple occasions as, nothing helps. They now say I do not qualify for warranty because the purchase occurred more than 1 year ago. So be aware if you are in the EU, Eufy does not want to provide the mandated 2 year consumer warranty. They simply ignore that.

I have a few Eufy items. The wired cameras are good. However the doorbell has been very disappointing. I bought after a wait, the E340. I liked the idea of the dual camera. The battery needed regular charging, every month or so. That would be fine except just after the warranty ran out the battery stopped charging. I left the doorbell on charge for two days. It lasts about half an hour, then reports a low battery. I tried mains wiring it, as recommended but because it is the battery model, it still relies on the battery, even though it is wired. This appears to be common to this model, looking at the community pages. Stick with a wired one.

How so? He is absolutely correct in terms of subscription fees. We are currently with Ring and our yearly fees have gone up by more than 40%. We will certainly move to a Eufy doorbell soon.

I have a door bell It sucked , slow . Decryption takes forever. Why is there no switch to turn off encryption option. Most of the time can't decrypt and can not see video. Someone rings the door bell it is toooo slow that when it opens live view the person is gone. By the way I have fastest Internet. Fiber optic.
