Don't be surprised when replacing the deadbolt lock you find that it doesn't fit flush. You might have to use a wood chisel to make the hole a little deeper so that the locks is flush against the door jamb. Apart from that, it's excellent, looks beautiful and works flawlessly.

I see you didn't install the strike plate. I installed, but it gets jammed. Should I change out the strikeplate? I see I'm not the only person who is having this issue without pushing the door and then locking it.

I used my existing strike plate, no need to change it if it already works. If yours gets blocked you might need a thinner one. every door jam is not created equally

Hey do you have any idea if this smart lock will fit on an 80mm thick door?😅 because per Eufy customer service and their specifications sheet, it will only fit on the standard 2 1/8” doors. But I asked their AI chat support and it answered that it should have no problem with 80mm thick door. I’ve been looking online for any one who’s tried it but have had no luck so far. Would greatly appreciate it if you can answer my questions🙏🏼
