Thanks Adam. Yeah I wish it did. From what I’ve tested only the older eufy stuff works in the plug-in, and the newer stuff doesn’t show up at all. There one or two from last year that show up, but they don’t work that well. Like the eufy floodlight 360 only works when your not on the same network. The plug-in hasn’t been updated since April so it doesn’t like it will get better anytime soon. Never the less I’m still enjoying and using my eufy stuff from the eufy app.

At the time of the original release of this video a few months ago it was not (I moved this over from MDR). Thanks, I love my rack although it's become a mess since I'm always adding and removing things. I share some about it 2-3 years ago on Instagram but I've been thinking of doing a full video on it soon when I get my UniFi stuff.

What if you install it in a place with no sunlight? How long does it lasts without sunlight? Is there an option to recharge it by cable or only with sunlight?

Great vid! Does the Homebase 2 or 3, when set to WiFi connection serve as a wifi repeater? And if so, is it putting out a wifi signal like a wifi router?

How many Homebase 3 can be connected simultaneously? Do they connect to each other wirelessly, or should all of them be connected to the same router with ethernet? I am wondering if there is wifi signal sufficiency for 4 cameras and a doorbell, if they are placed around a BIG single layer house. Thanks

This might be a silly question brother. Does the home base 3 have to be in wifi range of the cameras to control the cameras like older Arlos? Or can I have the home base in a remote location on the same network with the cameras connecting to my Wi-Fi access points?

I see you have a Hubitat Elevation Hub on your rack. Have you linked any automations up between the Hubitat and HB3? Hope so since that's what I'd like to do.

Great video. I currently have the first version of EufyCams and Homebase. Thinking of adding more cameras and looking to purchase the EufyCam 3 with new Homebase 3 bundle. Just wondering whether you managed to add your older EufyCams to the new Homebase 3? Were there any issues that you encountered?

Thank you. It depends on what model. If you have the same ones as me, the Eufy Cam 2 Pros, then yes. I run both the Eufy Homebase 2 & 3 at the same time.

Appreciate the reply. My current Eufy Homebase 1 doesn't integrate with Apple Home. I would think since Homebase 2 is able to integrate with HomeKit, Homebase 3 should be able to do the same.... not sure whether Eufy will issue a software update to fix that? You video and the compatibility chart been really helpful and have assisted me to make the decision to purchase the Eufy Cam 3 and Homebase 3 bundle. Thank you and keep it up 😊👍

Have you tested the geolocation feature? It would be nice if that worked so it will switch to home/away depending on you’re home or not.

I am planning to buy eufy cam 3 4k. I want to install one outside and one inside the house. Will ot work the one inside the house ? Even there is no sunlight direct to the solar panel.

Yes, just keep an eye on the battery life and you'l have to charge it via wire.

I have a home base2 with a eufy security door bell connected. I'm now trying to connect my S330 eufycam to the home base2 but they won't connect does it have be home base 3

Yes but you will lose Apple Home integration if you use that. I do, so I kept my HB2 for my old 2 Pros.

No, it's only clip recording when it sees motion. 24/7 uses a lot of power and needs to be wired. They have a pro model now that is 24/7 recording to the Homebase 3 but it needs to be plugged in - geni.us/eufyPro (amazon affilate link)

16 cameras & only 4 wired cameras can record 24x7 with the Homebase 3. This seems to be getting missed all over the place.

This video orginally came out (03/23/23) way before the option of 24/7 recording to the HB3 was even avalable. Which these cameras (EufyCam3) don't have that option at all so why would I or anyone have mentioned it their EufyCam3 video? Thanks for the info though as I only have 2 wired cameras synced to HB3 that does 24/7. My other ones are still synced with HomeKit so the HB3 is disable for those cameras. BTW: did you know the HB3 also has to be wired to the network for the 24/7 option. If you have it working over WiFi, the 24/7 option is disabled. You'll see that spec/issue in a comparison video of the eufy Floodlight Cam Pro 2 (s330) vs. the new Floodlight Cam E340 on my other channel in a few days.

Go out and look around. The vast majority of people you see are obese or al least over weight. People do not need to be fat shamed BUT being over weight is not healthy and leads to a host of illnesses. Nope, no HomeKit and the Homebridge Plugin don't work for these newer cameras.
