Could you please try something for me? can you put the default camera position to look outside of the PIR sensor range and see if it can still detect visually? Looking to see if this can increase the detection range to greater than the 200 degrees of PIR only

Looks like motion detection triggered video recording only happens in the range of the PIR. But once it’s triggered, it can track the object and rotate the camera to outside the PIR range.

Just a regular Philips head screwdriver. Just make sure it has long enough shaft to get to the screw from the side

Thanks for great video. One question, what 128G SD card you are using, I had problem formatting my Sandisk 128G UHS1 Micro SD cards

I used the Samsung microSD card. Try to re do the formating in general-> storage. Sometimes it may take a couple tries. If still not working, check if the card is corrupted.

No, during the installation your phone can be connected to the 5G network. It’s just the floodlight cam itself connects to the 2.5G

I would recommend the "endurance" SD cards such as Samsung Pro Endurance, SanDisk High Endurance, etc

The close one is about 20ft, the far one is about 40 ft

Sorry I misunderstood your question. The detection range is up to 40 ft for both floodlight cams.

It’s possible, but you will need the eufy HomeBase so the video will be saved on the HomeBase.

I wonder if the box was sealed? I received the Eufy Floodlight Cam E340 from Amazon without an outer box. There was some extra tape on the used looking box but no original sealing... I am hesitating to open the box, perhaps I should send it back as is?

The original one should have a layer of sealed plastic wrap. If not, should ask Amazon to replace it

This need to be hardwired. You may ask an electrician to add an electric box to install it. Other option would be the solar powered solo cam S340
