Silver Eagle, thank you for making no assumptions about my level of knowledge. I've installed several different types of digital door handles and deadbolts in years past, and even just the unboxing was a head-scratcher on at least one of them. This Eufy Security Smart Lock Touch & WiFi - 2021 is far more advanced than any of my old keyless entry units. I love the fact that this lock comes with keys, and plenty of them. That's one less thing for me to worry about in case a battery leaks, my WiFi is down, I'm wearing gloves, I can't find my cell phone, or whatever else can possibly go wrong. I have 4 young children. Is this Eufy model rugged? It is very streamlined, which makes me think there are fewer parts sticking out for my children to break.

Another thorough review. You sure make it hard to decide which one to choose. Do you think the fingerprint scanner on this lock is as secure as the one on the Lockly smart lock ?

Of course it’s secure as the Lockly smart lock, eufy smart lock using AES 256 bit and basically it’s even more secure than any other smart lock out there.

Is there a way to either rekey the lock if I purchase additional units, or can I request more of the same keys from Eufy if I buy an additional lock?

I like the fingerprint feature that actually works and unlocks fast. I'm choosing Eufy over the Lockly and Yale. Do you know if direct sunlight on the Eufy lock affects the numeric code or fingerprint screen performance? I've read that Lockly had this issue, and the numeric code screen would fade or not work.

From the Eufy manufacture, they are saying that this lock can handle very cold and hot conditions… as I mentioned in my video So I think it should be OK

Can you please let me know how far the actual deadbolt protrudes from the side of the door? I have a fairly narrow door frame with a glass pane and want to make sure this will be suitable before I buy it. Thanks.

As a Locksmith myself, I find it rather stupid if you change the cylinder from a Chinese Schlage to high security, you void the warranty. It's a really hard decision. A cheap Chinese knockoff 6-pin cylinder to something more supreme like Assa Twin, Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, or any other strong cylinder. 🤔🤣

Hi thanks for the video. How many user fingerprint and passcode can I create? Is lock unlock operating remotely from any where?

Up to 66 fingerprints and up to 100 user codes. Using the app on your smartphone you can lock/unlock and get notifications when the door is open/closed from anywhere
