@@byrondelgado5521The app has changed a little from when I made the video but if you open the eufy app, then click on AI edge on the bottom of the app then click on the face you want to see corolated videos for, on the new page that comes up at the bottom you will be able to scroll through all instances of that persons videos.

Thank you! So, we have the S380 base but the less sophisticated EufyCam 2C Pro cameras, at max 2K, therefore a few of the settings don't apply but it was still relatively easy to follow along via the app layout etc. A note to 2C Pro cam owners, the main takeaway is the AI is less sophisticated, and as such does not have the further "body recognition" that I could find......please correct me if I'm wrong as would love that feature and the more sophisticated learning! However, we're happy with our system and will likely get an add-on solar panel for one of our cameras (yours have built-in) - had no idea a solar panel was available for our cams.....figured it out in the settings you described! Also for the 2C Pro, there is no "event counter" for each camera, must go to "Events" to see which camera was activated; nice feature to have but not significant. However, The BIGGEST takeaway for me was editing the activity and privacy zones.....I had no idea this existed!! We have now added a privacy zone to one of our cams because it was triggering events at the edge of our neighbors driveway.....I had been thinking there must be a way to deal with this! thank you again for a great video!!

Yes, as long as the wifi is still working at your home and you have access to a smart phone with data.

Thank you for double checking. I thought that would be the case. When I was on a virtual chat with Eufy, they waffled a little. First they said it wasn’t an option but then mentioned that there was an option in the settings where you could choose a local storage location (either phone or homebase). But I didn’t see that option. I guess I was thinking, if motion could trigger the homebase , why couldn’t the phone trigger storage to the homebase as well? Oh well … maybe on a future update. Thanks again.

It is less about the company and more about how it is powered. eufy as well as Tapo have cameras that you keep plugged in at all times and these will record continuously. Battery powered cameras tend to be clip based to extend there usability before needed to be recharged.

Hello ... Thank you very much for the detailed video. It was very nicely done, I just got my system and your video really helped as you covered all of the details and got right to the point. I have one question for you, if you happen to know. I notice that when I trigger a video recording from the Eufy Security Mobile app on my iPhone, that the video is saved to my phone's photo album only and is not stored on my Homebase 3. Only videos that are triggered by motion seem to be stored in the homebase 3. I have been on the support site and they provide reasonable reasons for this but they seem to indicate that there is possibly a way to have the app triggered videos stored on the homebase 3 as well. I have searched but I haven't seen this option on the S330 camera settings, so this option doesn't seem to be available. I would like to not have to store the videos on my phone for space reasons. Can you confirm that the app triggered videos cannot be stored to the homebase 3, or is there something I'm missing. Thank you.

I am not aware of an option to do this. I went looking throught he settings as well and did not see anything. The reasoning behind this I thought was that motion recordings are saved to the home base as your phone is not always around to record and save this information. However, if you manually record something either from a clip or live feed it is placed right on your phone as it is the phone that is making the recording.

When sharing with another person you have two options just a user which will let them see the camera feeds and get notifications from the camera. The other option is admin which lets them have all the options of a user but also gives them access to the settings of the camera. Allowing them to make changes to the camera.

Unfortunately as of right now you can only view one live feed at a time. However, there will be a future display coming soon that will have the ability to view more than one camera at the same time and hopefully that functionality will also come to the app.

No if you want something that records 24/7 you are going to need a powered camera. Battery cameras only record clips.

Yes the camera will still record. It will just stop notifying you when it sees motion.

How you notice when you push Hold and Speak the bar is not moving while you speak? It is not sending audio to the Camera.... that is one problems eufycam users are having until now.

That can be dependent on your wifi as well. If the connection is not stable you might be able to get the audio to work correctly at times.

Yes, but it is not full duplex. You can hear the person on the other end of the camera but to talk to them you will need to hold down the "talk" button in the app.

It will not erase things you have on the home base. It is just making a copy on the external device.

Thanks for the great video. One part that I am not clear on is scheduling. I setup a schedule called "bedtime" between 10pm and 06am. Can it just be for the backyard cam? also wanted to enable pet detection but no alarm for pet detection just human unknown during this period. (ie: I want to detect and record animals but no alarm. If humans are detected in my backyard at that time "bedtime" I definately want the alarm to sound) I have not figured out how to do this yet. If you know please. Thanks!

If I understand your question correctly you would be setting this upp for any cameras that a part of your eufy app. As far as limiting alarms vs notifications I do not think there is this level of granular control in the app at this time. That could change as updates are made.

Eufy needs to add a feature to disable interior cameras when at home. Nest has a home and away feature that using the location of your mobile phone to determine if you are away. There needs to be an easy way to disable interior cameras when at home.

This camera is a battery powered camera. It can not be used as a 24/7 recording camera. For that you would need a camera that plugs into a power source.

I really dislike my Eufy Cameras. For me I want a camera that would come on live where there is movement. By just recording the event, it is like everything is after the effect. By going live when activated it would give true, current video! Looking for a camera that will do this.

eufy may still be an option for you but you are going to want to look for a powered camera. Battery cameras are going to function as you describe no matter the manufacture.

It sounds like your phone might have data saving turned on which would not let you access things like live stream video from the camera. It should be under your connectivity options.

@@calijunior714 As this is a battery powered camera you are only going to get clips. This is done to extend the life of the batteries. If you want something that has continues recording to an SD card you are going to want a powered camera. This type of camera recordes continuesly to an sd card which can then be looked back over at a later time.
