Eugene families attend the 55th Annual Valley River Center Car Show

It started in 1969, the Emerald Empire Vintage Auto Club displayed 28 classic cars throughout the Valley River Center for Father's Day. Now, it's been a tradition for 55 years.
Bob Blaesi, a former member of EEVAC, says, "Father's Day is an appreciation for being a dad. I think the kids appreciate having a dad, somebody who can help guide them and do certain things in life. It's important."
