I had the hypothesis that braking the standard way was indistinguishable from reducing the speed to zero by crash. After all, the final velocity is zero in both cases. Alas, it turned out that the two states actually were distinguishable, e.g. by the amounts on medical bills.

To keep watching these videos the christyun war on science education has to be won. Removing science from the classroom and replacing it with bible study is part of the christyun right's plan to put woo back in the curriculum, crosses on walls and prayer as an instructional tool. When I was beginning my education in the late 50's America led the world in most fields of science and technology, and students from around the world were desperately trying to get an American education. Trumpists have put an end to that.

@@EugeneKhutoryansky Why does the wave function rotates?
@Shenron557
@Shenron557 3 жыл бұрын
@@theunknown4834 The wave function does not actually rotate. The rotation is shown to represent the real and imaginary parts of the wave function. Look at the axes' labels in the animations. Its kind of like this: To represent a real sine wave, you need two dimensions (lets say X and Y). If an imaginary component is also added, you will need an extra dimension to show the imaginary part. In the simple cases shown in the video, the real and imaginary components combine together which seems like a rotation. For example, if you plot the function exp(i*t) on a complex plane where t goes from 0 to 2*pi, you will see a vector rotating in the counter-clockwise direction.

You are doing an excellent job explaining fundamental physics using these visual tools in combination with the math. Far too many people are unable to understand the information using math alone and are therefore excluded from the wonderful world of natural science. And yet, it makes so much sense, even if you have no educational background in this science whatsoever. Of course, waves will interfere with one another. That's what waves do, be they of an elastic, electromagnetic, or probability nature. The scholars of ancient times were not foolish at all when they intuitively proposed the universal music of nature. They had not yet the capacity to begin to grasp quantum-mechanics, but they already sensed that waves were vital to the total concept of it all.

@ll-oh2gz
@ll-oh2gz 3 жыл бұрын
@@UzairKhan-qd3xu Yes very similar since the atomic orbitals can be described using wavefunctions. They can be combined symmetrically and antisymmetrically as well. These wavefunctions can be found using Schrodinger's equation and by making a few assumptions to simplify these complicated calculations to give answers (which will be approximate but still quite accurate).

Thank you very much for these high quality videos! I didn't find such an explanation for these concepts of QFT, but these videos helps a lot to understand, what are those bra-ket notations and complex-valued "psi functions" are about!

I finally get it. After viewing this video many MANY times, I get it. This is so clever. Too many identical electrons in the same bowl spoils the soup :) Your animations are amazing and make the concepts intuitive.

I can't thank you enough for these videos. There is nothing comparable where in 20 minutes I can gain such a deep understanding of electron orbitals and lasers. It really is amazing that by just following the logic of matter being wave-like that so much of reality just inevitability pops out.,
