Yeah it's cause she was realizing and becoming articulate. Her mom doesn't want that because she doesn't want her source of income leaving. Sad. Her mom manipulated her yet again to get her way because if you watch when she comes from rehab she realizes things and acknowledges her ed. Then later on she says she doesn't and that her "friends" are monsters that they never wanted to help her but break her down. So many red flags/alarming things from old clips and stuff as well that shows that Jackie and them were right of her mom.

I blame Shane for that. He pushed her so hard to get the scoop and wanted her to basically disclose everything about treatment. You could see she was clearly uncomfortable on video with her body being shown (even though she looked amazing). What she really needed was time away from social media to get more solid in her recovery and Shane interfered.

I had anorexia for nearly 12 years; I wasted all my adolescence to mid twenties with it. I have very few pictures to recount what happened in my life from the ages of 15-26. I have no friends; I haven’t had any sense of a social life in over 7 years. People would say “I have no life” but they don’t realize this disease almost killed me and regardless of how limited my life has been in terms of experience and establishing my place in the world, I’m still alive and very few other than those who suffer from mental illness know what that’s like: for sheer survival to be your life’s ultimate accomplishment. Despite recovering, my memory is extremely shoddy; I suffer from heat exhaustion, bone density loss, an overactive autoimmune system, scarring alopecia, and depression. I know my mind will never be what it was before anorexia; I know the damage I’ve done is irreversible. But to anyone who reads this and questions why this woman looks the way she does, just know that she is suffering, and she is suffering from an illness that kills one every 50 something minutes in this country. She, like all of us who have suffered from this disease, is suffering in silence. She might not know how frail she actually is; she might not even realize she’s doing anything wrong to herself because that’s just how severely we succumb to anorexia. I hope she chooses to recover, as hard as it’s been, it’s the only reason I’m still alive able to type this message today.

Well, for what it's worth, I'm very proud of you. And I would love to be your friend. Since I got sober 21 months ago, I don't have any friends either. I can't hang out with the people I used to anymore because they could jeopardize my sobriety. And I had a falling out with my best friend since high school cause she started dating a guy who sent me a dick pic and started trying to sext me, and when I told her about it, she got mad at ME!! And she blamed ME!! She said that it was bc I was "asking for it" bc I dressed "like a slut". Then she moved to Colorado w/him and ended up marrying him but I wasn't invited to be her maid of honor anymore, or even attend the wedding at all, bc it would make her husband "uncomfortable". So I haven't spoken to her since. And we used to be inseparable. Then my other best friend, whom I've known since we were both 12, moved to Washinton State. So yeah, that's my sob story about having no friends. I live in Arizona, where do you live? We could be long distance friends too, since I'm obviously very good at that now. And again, I am very proud of you for getting well. That's so hard to do, but you really did the work, and that's so awesome!! You deserve all the good things in life!!🥹✨️💕🌸

There is in England. You can have a doctor go with the police there to do a wellness check. The doctor can determine if the person in question is a risk to themselves or the people around them. The police can get on the property. So in the States, the police can do a wellness check but they’re not doctors. They’re very little they can do to help someone if they refuse help. A doctor can determine if someone is at high risk but they can’t go into a home or property without permission while the police can go on someone’s property if they need to

A lot of people don’t realise that those with anorexia or other eating disorders, have a voice in their head, so if you say “you look awful”, that’s going to come off as GOOD to them (results are showing), if you say they look great, they’ll assume they may have put on weight, so it’s best to not comment on looks at all unless it’s something that doesn’t directly relate to weight or health (eg I love those shoes, or your makeup looks amazing), with anything more specific, you pretty much can’t win.

Actually with eye makeup, you should really hold down the cotton pad with the makeup remover (or what method you use to get eye makeup off) and just let it sit there for a little bit. It melts off the eye makeup and this is just a less irritating thing to do for your eyes vs rubbing everything everywhere. Especially if you’re removing heavy eye makeup. Your skin around your eyes is very sensitive so you should be careful. Also you don’t want makeup to get into your eye. So it’s better to hold down a cotton pad over your eye and gently wipe it away

But it’s good practice to be mindful of how you take your eye makeup off. Like I said the skin around your eyes is very delicate and you don’t want to get makeup in your eyes. Especially if you’re trying to get off large glitter chunks. It sounds like a dum thing to worry about but it’s your eyes we’re talking about here. The last thing anyone wants is to get an eye infection or something like that because makeup got all in your eyes?

It’s just lack mascara an eyeliner smudged , And If I wanna be really technical and petty, ( and yes I am ) If you look up relationship of colors like ROYGBIV the color wheel and you’ll see primary colors, secondary colors ex… but If you take any shades of red and oranges in this case her skin tone which is going to be light peachy and pink tones ( since she’s causation) and mix it with blue shades which is her eyeshadow that is a Turquoise , or Teal shade and mix them up your going to get purplish colors , and with the black mascara and liner thrown in the mix it’s very easily going to look like a black eye . Also I know for myself I am always battling dark circles under my eyes so I don’t ever use blues or greens or purples when it comes to eyeshadow cause it just ends up looking like I haven’t slept in days or like I was punched in the eye . If that’s the look I’m going for then great ,but most of the time I’m not. FYI I wasn’t trying to be rude at all with my comment .🙂

@@MrsJosephCorica But she really wasn’t getting better otherwise she wouldn’t be in the shape she is in now. You can only lock someone up and force them to eat for so long. Plus she would need to drop social media as a whole because even people with good intentions complementing how much healthier she looked at that time is an instant trigger for an ED. People wanted her to succeed so badly & she may have for a moment as well but it’s so easy to fall right back into it and the more times you relapse, the worse the condition gets and the harder it is to recover. She has to want to get better for any hospital stay to have any chance of success and she has to do at minimum a year, likely longer, for treatment to have any chance of success just based off how her last stay went. But since she is an adult she would have to admit herself or get a court hold placed on her.. I would think her condition should qualify for a court hold, as they do this for someone who is wanting to hurt themselves but I guess EDs blur this line. It’s sad, and by the time she realizes what’s she done, it will likely be too late. All we can do is just hope for the best and as bad as it sounds, avoiding her social media so she doesn’t get the dopamine hit from the interactions & comments on her appearance. That would probably be about all anyone can do until she decides her life is worth living.

Would you talk to someone with terminal cancer the way you guys talk about her? At this point we all know that her ED is terminal and a he can’t just start eating again, it could literally kill her. It’s a whole process that would have to be done in an inpatient setting, but she has got to have so much irreversible organ damage at this point it’s probably not an option.

The sad thing is that ppl with this disease usually can’t start eating enough calories to gain weight and muscle even if they really want to once it’s progressed this far. My heart breaks for her. 😢

At her weight she’d be at MASSIVE risk for Refeeding Syndrome. If someone is starved, calories and everything that’s in them have to be introduced slowly and almost always via a nasogastric tube. You need constant blood tests and ECGs and blood pressure and pulse obs. Unfortunately it thus has to be inpatient. The problem is that such treatment is massively traumatic to anorexia patients. For me it lead to severe medical PTSD at 15yrs old. And I lost all the weight as soon as the tube came out. My body is wrecked, I’m swollen from protein malnutrition as you can see and have every side effect in the book. My outpatient care is excellent though. But It’s a loose/loose situation as long as anorexia patients have to almost die before help can be given.

i met Eugenia at warped tour in 2014. she gave me a GIANT hug and pulled me in like i was her best friend even though i was some random fan. she has one of the sweetest souls but people that are as gentle and sweet as she is are easily eaten away at by evil things in life.
