I sort of get it, but I'm the opposite. I stay in places for so long that I become attached and even become anxious about the thought of moving. You've just mastered some areas of your garden, and I hate to think that it will eventually return to its natural state, grown over, perhaps with weeds consuming all the lovely vegetables. Still, congratulations on what you've achieved so far and when your other home is ready, you know you will have worked diligently for every bit of it. I hope a garden lover will want to buy it from you. Fingers crossed.

Eugenia, you saved me over the past ten months of trying to recover from septic shock due to an infection in a knee replacement. I’ve had three surgeries and I’m having another one on Wednesday. If it weren’t for watching you in all your beautiful simplicity, I don’t think I would have had the will to fight a deadly serious infection. Eight weeks in the hospital. When I was beside myself, you taught me to have hope. Also being Celiac, you have taught me how to care more about the food I eat. I have a very large garden that brings me joy. You know the truth about what is important in life. You work hard on taking care of your land and others. You said you want to share your talent with the world. Well you have, and you saved my life. You are still a doctor even though you think you are not practicing. Trust me, you are practicing. I feel so peaceful when I watch you work with your hands, your homemade bread and dishes motivate me to want to take care of myself better. Thank you for what you gave me. And even though I live in rural Illinois, a million miles away from your cabin, I can share in the spirit of love you have for our world. Thank you again for making a difference in my life during a very sad time. Even though we face stress and depression at times from life, our core is pure. We have it in us to disregard the comments and opinions of others, and you learned it my dear at a younger age. May you feel the warm sun on your face and know how beautiful you are.

I am very familiar with wanderlust, even after having children who crave stability, I couldn't quiet the need for new experiences, and to travel. At almost 60 yrs old, I still feel the winds calling, begging me to explore life outside of the familiar life I created. I love and appreciate my beautiful peaceful life but I grew up around the Pacific ocean and I live far away from the beach. I thought that I was in my forever home, yet I feel the pull to head back to the crashing waves.

Off grid life can be difficult, especially in a hot climate like in Alentejo during August and September. I'm from Portugal and I know that it's not easy to live in this region... It's important to take a break to travel to a different place. But this type of life is worth the effort, with such tranquility and beauty of the Nature! I would love to live like this someday!

Some of these comments show why some parasocial relationships can be unhealthy. None of us see what Eugenia or Pepe are dealing with day to day. We only see what is created on a 18-30min video. Some of us don’t even have a living plant in our house let alone a WHOLE garden while also building where you live. She is burnt out. She doesn’t own us anything. She’s a grown adult. It's seems pretty clear that she go on a trip as they do often before. She mentioned she was burn out, talked about it in previous videos so she takes vacations. She generally make really good vlogs when she is traveling. If they take the van, she brings the pets, if not, they have somebody to keep them. i live in southeast of France and keeping my big garden was a real challenge this year, the weeds this year were constantly growing, slowing down only now on contrary to each year, plants were growing but not giving as much, carrottes were eaten by ant flies, as its been for the past 3 years. got fed up but at least planted onions and echalotes spinach and winter salad, i am not giving up😅

Eugenia, can I ask why do you soak your tulsi an hour before drying them? Surely through leaving them in water for 1h you are kind of creating an infusion and therefore relaxing some of its properties into that soaking water, or do you use that afterwards? Drink it maybe? Xx
