In this video I demonstrate the ITF Chong Hon pattern Eui Am. It is the first Second Dan pattern. I also demonstrate the application for each move as recommended by the Encyclopedia of Taekwondo. If you enjoy this one please check out my previous applied Tul videos.
SPECIAL Thanks to those who made this video possible! Sabrina Young, Claudia Cunningham, Ciana Cunningham, Ryan Yoo, Steve Sanderson, and Vanessa Williams. (punching and kicking you guys was a blast. thanks so much for helping out)

I'm not sure what you mean by foundation. But I have made all of the colored belt patterns in this same applied style. And all of the 1st dan patterns. You can find them on this channel. I am psyched you enjoyed this one.

Are you training or teaching WTF taekwondo too, sir? Or do you like WTF as well?

I don't really like WTF very much for myself. The patterns don't make a lot of sense to me, and Sparring with hands down seems like a bad idea. I respect people that enjoy it, and practice. but yah, not my cup of tea.

Sir, im going to try being diplomatic as your style may have a different interpretation on technique. While I like the idea of the video, it can be a great training aid to help student better understand the intent behind each technique. I don't believe you're using correct examples or demonstration of technique. I'm going to use rising blocks in this clip as brief example. 1- I'm taught to block the attackers body, arms in this case, not the weapon In your first rising block you block the bar...I'm pretty sure the bar would win shattering your arm. Blocking the attackers arm earlier would prevent this (granted still always a risk). 2- You're using a knife-hand blocks (I've been taught these are designed to "attack" block the attackers joints) but still contact with your forearm on both instances. Which block is it, forearm or knife-hand? Please do not be offended as I really like the idea but I feel it should be as accurate as possible.
