Great video, a lof off effort went to it. I train about 1.5 hours per day 4-5 days a week, my total stretching time during those trainings is 15-20 minutes only for side split (about 10-15 sets). I don't progress for almost 2 years. 99.99% of people would quit training after it. Well, in fact I progress, but for only about 2 cm those 2 years. Before that, I progressed almost 1 cm per 2 weeks. Why is that? Thank you very much for your answer in advance.
@SimonScher2 ай бұрын
That is impressive dedication. There could be many reasons. What stretches and methods are you using?
@maximshukanov32672 ай бұрын
@@SimonScher Thank you very much for your answer! I will try to describe in detail how I train. My daily training lasts about 1-2 hours. It begins with warming up: doing regular squats, pistol squats, and leg swings forward and to the side. I warm up my hips, knees, feet with rotations and do a different kicks. Between all these exercises, I do about 50 forward bends in total. This takes about 20 minutes in total for now. After that, I begin to stretch: I mainly continue to do forward bends, but I add sitting bends, also trying to do front and side splits. I do side split according to all the rules and with the correct technique, taking into account the anatomy of the joints and bones. I have watched all these videos on KZbin about the anatomy of the hip joint a lot. These are the main stretching exercises that I do. As a result, my bends are progressing very slowly, but at least somehow. Front and side splits almost do not progress at all. I mainly work out with a slight, not very sharp pain, which I can tolerate for about a minute (in general, my pain threshold is low, I am sensitive to pain). I tried to work out with no pain at all (only slight discomfort and tension), I tried to work out with very strong pain, I even specially took weak anti-inflammatory painkillers for this. I tried to work out 5 days a week, I also tried to work out once every 3 days. I tried to do sets for 20 seconds, and even sets for 10 minutes (when there is almost no pain, only light tension). At the same time, I even specially bought protein for bodybuilders to recover faster)) There was no noticeable difference. The speed of progress is such that if you approximate it, then I will be able to sit on the splits only somewhere in 15-20 years)) I will be incredibly grateful to you if you tell me what I am doing wrong. I'm really out of any ideas.

@@maximshukanov3267 interesting. Have you watched my video 7 stretches to a full split, PNF stretching, and my latest in breathing techniques for stretching? Those 3 should provide techniques that will speed up your progress. Do the 7 stretches after warm up with the breathing techniques and you should see progress in a week or 2.

For the spinning hook kick it would depend. If you are throwing it while spinning g 360 degrees no. But if you are throwing it and stopping forward on the 180 degree line than yes the principal is the same. I cover that in my taekwondo hooking tutorial from a few year ago on this channel.

OK, I donno if this is the most stupid thing I've seen in my life or what, but I'd rather take components from the various tuls and mixm up. Some of the applications are just stupid. I know your just trying to follow the sequence, but honestly I don't think anybody really understands the sequence and it's probably just a random set of movements anyway.
