How does this ensure no bias? People with different native languages will interpret the message differently. It's a fact. Just like different judges interpret the same law differently. This is why Canada has two official languages at the federal level, and French (civil law) is legally equal to English (common law) throughout the country.

Very Inspiring material, As musician and interpreter I can tell that there a close relationship between delivering a message through Linguistic Language and Musical Language. Both skills require high level of cognitive skills and a lot a practice to achieve mastery. I practice both skils everyday, Cheers!!

Absolutely agree. I am a musician and it's almost the same thing. Unfortunately I can't be sitting many hours playing music as I wish. When I was in high school I always wanted to carry with me my instrument.

Okay but practice hooow 😭😭 how can we practice interpreting alone when not in an actual job already. Musicians can practice at home alone the exact thing they'll be doing on stage, but as an interpreter how do we practice when we're just alone at home? What kinds of exercises or practice can we do?

You can study from home in SEVERAL ways including: listening to the news and trying to interpret what they are saying. Or by studying your vocabulary in the languages you intend to interpret in.
