I honestly thought a lot of the couples talked at each other rather than to each other. I agree that there are a lot of contestants who are emotionally defensive. Quite a few with large gaps in dating eg 5 or 10 years. I honestly think some of them need to look for a therapist rather than a partner. Too many of them do not seem ready for a relationship never mind marriage.
