And a time skip feels like we'd miss so much like the weeks following the play that was put on... Idk I feel like with half the cats gone and with everyone being so much older and more popular now it should just be cancelled

From an audience standpoint it just feels like nothing the show does can make up for not being able to give that arc a proper end. Most people don't want 100% bitter endings for characters they like. Even in a gritty show, the audience at least wants to be able to see the character get back up and find some semblance of peace in the aftermath, and that just isn't possible here. Which is an interesting and realistic concept, but not exactly one everyone is going to be happy with especially considering the reason why that isn't possible. His absence is going to be felt immensely.

The entire aesthetic of Euphoria was built off stolen young women's labor specifically Petra collins.. This needs to be addressed. The entire aesthetic was taken from Petra, a teenage photographer who was asked to design the lighting aesthetic for the show and then kicked off because she was "too young". The show then stole the aesthetic Petra had been cultivating throughout her career off while failing to compensate her for her contributions. Hollywood being shady and stealing women's labor as usual

Funny enough, it WAS ready, There is an entire script for season two that was written immediately after season one wrapped that we will never see. Sam Levinson was the one who was NOT ready to continue the story he had created. From the original draft to what we got in season two, almost everything was rewritten to fit the overwhelming popularity of the show, and Levinson's own biases. He realized he had more things to say about the audience of the show that didn't fit the original narrative, so he threw the original narrative out of the window and rushed into a new one. That is why there is all this gossip about unplannedness behind the scenes. Everything was new and betrayed the characters original narratives. All because of Sam Levinsons ego and his obsession with defying the stakes of the first season.

I mean s1 to s2 took about a year, s3 took about a year and a half, and s4 took about basically almost 3 years. sorry but this whole show is so over rated since the beginning. there is nothing revolutionary about wearing minimal makeup with glitter. the only good thing about this show was some of the artistic compositions in scenes. the storylines are so unrealistic. the scene with jules and cal still makes me shudder, it was so gross and unnecessary, much like the rest of the sex scenes. the character assassinations were horrible too.

It’s been almost THREE years since s2 finale aired. People forget all subplots, no matter how good the show is, when the gap between seasons is over 1.5 years. Reduce the budget, diversify the writing room. Bring back substance over style.

I don't think Rue should stay sober. Thats not really how addiction works. I'm on maintenance and I'm still haunted by the dreams at night of IV heroin. It consumes you forever, whenever you get sober, there's only like a 5-15% chance you won't have a relapse, meaning majority of addicts relapse at some point... and she's nowhere near through the cycle. Hasn't reached rock bottom. Rue's drug scenes were some of the best in the show.

This is a terrible show. No good music, no good fashion, no good plot and absolutely depressing. I was assigned to write an article about it right after the first season ended. I had to binge watch it entire night. When I finished I was sooooo stressed. The aura was beyond dark. First time in my life I felt close to depression. Yeah, Zendaya was great. Yeah, Fezco was likable due to his caring nature and Angus himself. The rest? Trash! Toxicity! Please, people, set higher standards when it comes to music and cinematography.

Talking about "Fezco" in the intro without mentioning the passing of Angus Cloud is *insidious behaviour.* Angus Cloud passing is 90% of the reason I don't give a fuq about a season III Sam Levinson being a "bad dude" for not liking a person isn't the worst thing ever. Yes, the whole thing is creepy but we all watched the show so being "above" Sam Levinson is grossly hypocritical to me. Again, Angus Cloud was *the best* part especially when Rue went too far with the "becoming a dealer" angle. Cassie was so hyper dramatic but I couldn't do another season of that many aggressive tears.

There was a 3 year break between season 1 and 2. We will have a 4 year break for season 3. I’m willing to wait. I love Euphoria and I’m glad they will be in college. Season 2 left off with so much going on, and so much story that I want to know about. I’m fully invested in these characters. Hopefully, the story will be worth it. I’m actually watching season 1 right now. I’m still invested.

Both shows had the 20 episode structure both shows were 40 minutes long but most importantly they both took 1 year a season. now I'm not saying these 2 are the golden standard of television they've had their ups and downs but with shows coming out now we get 10 episodes less and triple the wait time

Let me throw ideas around Since the actor playing fezco passed (rip king🕊️) the way his storyline ended he could be wrote off as being sent to jail for life after ashtray gets shot by police if they wanted to keep him maybe letters to rue with a voiceover could work maybe if the family is okay with that Also rue is still on the run from using the drugs from that lady along with her mom threw away the rest which caused rue to freak out “ THOSE WERENT MINE” remember that Maybe rue could seek help from the well known & connected family in that town (Nate’s broken family) and that would cause the two of them to bond and she could help him realize what he is 🏳️‍🌈 & his slight obsession over jewels
