My friend told me about the show last week, I watched the trailer around 10am after my work shift and between that and my evening shift It’s almost midnight and I’m about to be 5 episodes deep. I’m on Bonny and Clyde rn but I’ve never had a show get me so hooked in a very long time and I’m a 19 yo straight guy so it’s legit a show for everyone. I’ve also been faded all day while watching it. I kinda act like the black twins daily but not as much now that I have a decent job. Funny how accurate the show is from someone who has tried every drug besides heroin, pcp, and ketamine but everything else I’m fairly experienced with. Especially psychedelics and downers so this show really sticks to me tbh rue kinda reminds me of myself.

NOBODY Can play Rue like Zendaya. She was meant for her and she attached to her in this way that she understands Rues mind, is just eccentric. I’m so GLAD that Sam chose her, he trusted her with his story and she took it and captivated it in the most beautiful and lively way ever.

Idk why parents don't want there kids watching it, they could learn something. I can understand middle School and below. But highschool and above need this knowledge, besides your mid teenage and above kids most likely are experiencing some of this right under your nose. Great Show, Great acting.
@kovuBug5 жыл бұрын
It could make the teens uncomfortable that's why. Also, it could inspire them to get into the wrong things. They find watch and then find drugs appealing rather than get the show's message if they haven't matured completely yet
@natalyalindo9825 жыл бұрын
I guess I can understand from a parents point of view, if your child is on the straight and narrow you wouldn’t want them to get any ideas from it so they could be “cool” from a teenagers point of view, I’m a junior this year; so the same grade rue is in , I like the show but it also shocks me because I could believe that this actually happens and it should be talked about

Zendaya’s message to Rue really got to me... because in some ways I do see myself in Rue and uh I just really admire Zendaya so much and I felt like she was saying that message to me.
@erykkha_4 жыл бұрын
yes me too but I see myself more in Jules. But also rue. The way Jules always felt like she had to get away and run away. And felt like no matter where she was it was just never the perfect fit. Only to realize not being that “perfect fit” had nothing to do with the outer world but more what you’re feeling inside. And I see myself in rue because of the extreme depression, and feeling like I have to cling onto these people to stay a float.

When I see this show I see myself, which is a feeling I could never fully describe, but it makes me feel whole and understood. Thank you to the creators, actors, makers of this show. True art is taking your struggle and turning it into a remedy for yourself and those who share the same kind of pain. 💜

I always loved Zendaya since my childhood but, never really knew why. As an adult I realize we are so much alike and there is no one I have ever related to. The guard we put up, introverted personality, the "chillness" (most time a facade)and most of all being hard on ourselves. Ever since I was a kid I was harder on myself than anyone else and it carried over into my adulthood as an artist. I put so much pressure on my self to be "the best" I often miss out on whats happening around me. She is honestly my biggest inspiration, nuff love.

I kinda think that it’s got just the right amount of attention. What makes the show special is that only a medium audience appreciates it and a small audience can relate to it. Immediately after watching the show I went to go check out what other people had said about it. I was shocked at the amount of people saying it unreasonable and unrealistic. So many people have not had to struggle with what the show portrays and that’s a good thing, but it means they’ll never understand the show completely. I feel like if everyone liked and related to the show it would really relate to anyone.
@nicolaimarquez22114 жыл бұрын
41:41 The face of Zendaya here is PRICELESS. On a more serious note, this is one of the best panels I've seen of anything. Everybody shows that they understand that the show is all about empathy and understanding that everybody has different circumstances. And man, Sam Levinson is a fucking inspiration. I just want to hug him sometimes in this video. And he answers many difficult questions with as much composure and empathy as he can. He's great. He even managed to turn his obsessive-compulsive disorder into a tool for making script writing more fun (or at least easier). He's so authentic. I love all these people, and I love Euphoria
