Hey Russ gorgeous bike! A few firsts, night riding (very cool) and the bar end mirror (my preference), maybe a full night ride video in the summer. Love the standard features Suntour seat post, handlebars with adjustable stem, and the extra nice looking front/rear baskets. Since you have your standard wish of 2 batteries, I think we'll see this Euphree often. I approve!

@EbikeReviews

I love the removable rear basket idea. So often I don't need a basket and wish it was easier to remove. Suspension seat post should come with all ebikes. I wish all manufactures would put more effort into making the bike comfortable. If they did, people would ride them more, talk about them more, and they would sell more bikes. The first thing I do with all my ebikes, is put a different saddle and a suspension seat post on them.
@RussIsRight
@RussIsRight Жыл бұрын
Some companies are afraid to add the suspension seat post because it would raise the retail price of the overall bike. But I hear ya! A nicer, more comfortable ride means you'd likely ride it more and longer.

I think it is a sapphire blue. Euphree calls it Rebel Blue. But since they have Emerald Green, the Sapphire makes sense. Beautiful bike. Congrats on the new bike and second battery. Very nice features. Thinner tires than you are used to. I like the low profile display unit. Interesting how bright the front light is. That is great. I do not ride at night either. No need. Sometimes hubby and I go out in the early evening.

Thank you Russ for another excellent video. I like many aspects of the bike. However I would not buy this bike unless it had a minimum of a 750w motor and 20amp battery. I would gladly pay $300-$400 more if it had those required features… feedback for the company…

Glad to see you off of that Class 1 Bike. You made it clear to me that my Torque Sensor obsession was baseless and the Cadence sensor is best for me (and you?). The Class 1 (no throttle) with Torque sensor combination does require constant effort whereas a Cadence sensor requires less constant effort - you can have a break with some ghost pedaling. Think I will stay with my Aventon Aventure.1!! Now that you have been riding more commuter/road style bikes, what are your thoughts on those 4 inch fat tires versus the thinner road bike widths?
@RussIsRight
@RussIsRight Жыл бұрын
The thinner commuter bike tires are definitely more nimble. I can turn and maneuver a lot better with them compared to the big 26" x 4" fat tires. I can't do a full U Turn on a fat tire bike without fear I might fall. Not so with the thin tires. I can do that easily.

Looks pretty nice, decently light at 58 pounds, also. Hoverboards only went away for a bit, they sell them at Target near me, just without the real cheap batteries that caused all the fuss some years back. Other than a brief period in the wake of that they’ve been around, though I think that did hurt their popularity. I do see kids on them sometimes, though.

Nice bike. You might mention to them for the cell phone holder. What if they would give just a mount that you could use 3M tape to attach to your own case. Could be included, not expensive, and work with every cell phone out there. Only thing the customer would have to do is supply a case for their own phone. I’m really liking the new technology and gadgets coming on the newer bikes.
@RussIsRight
@RussIsRight Жыл бұрын
The thing with the case is that nothing sticks out in the back. For me, since I put my phone in my pocket, the smooth back is a big deal. Putting a sticky mount on a case would make that poke my leg or poke towards the pants leg. Of course, this current method does cost more, but it is nice still.
@southernebiking
@southernebiking Жыл бұрын
@@RussIsRight I was thinking along the lines of a separate case for on the bike then when I typically use my phone. My personal phone pops on the case very easily so it seems like that would work well. Don’t know about others though they may be a pain to change the case on. still love the gadget lol. take care.

Nice bike I’m starting to rethink the 4 inch fat tire in lue of a hybrid type so I. Glad to see you trying some other styles of bike. That the Euphree is getting into some LBS is a bonus as many of use experience such bad responses from the e-commerce sellers weeks on end for support waiting for parts expected to fix your self and then start over again when it doesn’t work if you went to pick up a car at a dealership and it didn’t work you wouldn’t be expected to fix it yourself in your driveway… . The battery is dying. It doesn't hold charge as long as it used to. I either change out the battery, or get a new phone... so I decided maybe it's time to get a faster, newer model. iPhones don't come out until around October, so I have to keep charging until then.
