i love how well the wires are integrated into the bike. The back rack is welded unto the frame. Euphree has really paid attention to detail. 12g rear spokes, 11-28 tooth cassette(no ghost peddling). Cafe lock is really convenient when running into store or coffee for short time.85nm of torque is really good for hills. The back basket clips on/off to rack really easily to take into store for groceries. Their customer service is outstanding. Super comfortable saddle and suspension

I did end up purchasing this bike and am totally impressed. Checks all the boxes for me. The one critiques that John had above was wanting to see that motor re-engage faster after coasting or hitting th brakes. Thia can be easily be achieved in the Advanced Settings by switching start strength from 01 to 02. Very responsive.

Good spotting, I only tested that setting when literally starting from a dead stop and didn't notice much difference. Thanks for the info, and we're glad you're loving the bike!

@ElectricBikeReport I studied your reviews, and you and another reviewer were instrumental for me deciding to get an ebike, and this one in particular. I know this one wouldn't work for everyone but is perfect for me. Thanks.

You mentioned a change coming in October. Is there a new edition of the bike coming out then?
@ElectricBikeReport Жыл бұрын
No just an adjustment to that setting.

Very nice review. Thank you. A few of us are transitioning from motorcycles to ebikes. There seems to be a lot to learn. This was one of the ebikes we are looking at. Bikes paths: paved and gravel, some mountain paths..nothing crazy.

The City Robin is awesome! Likely best for paved paths. Stay tuned for our review of Euphree's newest, the Stellar Falcon. We're testing that bike now.

So you’ve given great reviews for Euphrees City Plus, Vanpowers City Glide Ultra and Aventon Level 2. How do I choose which is best? Which would you buy and why? Thanks! 😢
@ElectricBikeReport11 ай бұрын
Different points of strength for each one. For comfort: Euphree. For best all around, Level 2. For a mid drive with surprising power, Vonpowers.

@@ElectricBikeReport thanks for your reply. It’s a hard decision b’cause I can’t just go to a shop and ride them all. Do you know of any events or shows where I could at least see them all?

Can the throttle and pedal assist be used at the same time for extra push?
@CarlosGonzalez-hg1xm Жыл бұрын
yes it can
@tbyers3111 ай бұрын
My current ebike has no pedal assist, only a throttle. I like to ghost pedal/coast at times. So with this bike, do you have to disable the pedal assist to use the throttle or can you quit pedaling and use the throttle while pedal assist is turned on?

Although this bike isn't for me I love the paint and brown seat and grips combo.
@ElectricBikeReport Жыл бұрын
It's classic for sure!

Comparing this to the Level.2, which would you consider a better bike? I have some nice hills in my area and would be using a bike for only 3-7 miles at a time.
@ElectricBikeReport11 ай бұрын
Comfort will be better on the City Robin, but you might be able to get the Level for a bit less. Either way you can't go wrong. Both are rides we liked a lot.

@@ElectricBikeReport Which did you buy? I'm surprised of the EBR answer. The Level 2 didn't make it up the hill on throttle, results were N/A N/A ....the City Robin x+ did much much better. I don't like fat tire bikes and I would still pick the Aventon Adventure 2 over the Level 2.

Hey, any chance to review the Ado Air 20/28 ebike? The 20" model checks all the boxes for me that I am seriously considering to pay extra shipping and taxes to have it shipped to Canada. But I would love to hear your thoughts.
@ElectricBikeReport Жыл бұрын
We actually just recently wrapped up our review for the Air 20, stay tuned to the channel! It should be coming out soon.

Hi. Great, thorough review. I am torn between this and the Aventon Level2. Is there a stronger contender between the two? Thanks!
@ElectricBikeReport7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! It's hard to say. If you prefer a more upright riding position, the City Robin might be the better choice. But if you like a commuter-style position with a bit of a forward lean, the Level fits that bill better. The City Robin's throttle was also more capable on hills.
@AllThingsGoat7 ай бұрын
Can you "feather" the throttle for greater control or is turn on and go.?
@ElectricBikeReport7 ай бұрын
Throttle speed can be modulated/feathered! We haven't seen too many these days that are simply on/off.

Kind of getting into the Pedego territory here.
@mikeb1039 Жыл бұрын
How so?
@kevinnashskitchen3517 Жыл бұрын
Bikes that look kind of plain but have a bunch of little features that dresses them up. Just adding a 5 year warranty and $1,500 more price I would have sworn it's Pedego.😂
@christianbeaupre7989 Жыл бұрын
lol, true, I have the City Commuter. Very expensive, though Ihad the frame replaced free,out of warranty even. Pedego has great service, but you wont get the best spec bang for your buck. For that look to Fabulous, Wired, Juiced, etc etc@@kevinnashskitchen3517

That lock is silly. You would be better off having a chain/cable with lock, even for a quick run into cafe. The mounted lock will break spokes with a failed theft or you forgetting you locked it. NO GOOD!
@scottrichards3587 Жыл бұрын
Too bad it's not mid-drive to let motor take advantage of bike gears.
@ElectricBikeReport Жыл бұрын
It would definitely be great with a mid-drive, but we really liked it as-is!
