MCV have made the bodywork for a whole new order of Stagecoach West Scotland Volvo BZL single deckers. I had heard of the name before but couldn't really tell you much about the company but from what I can gather they are actually an Egyptian company.

Yes. MCV is an Egyptian company, and has made different bodies on Volvo chassis for UK market before BZL. Like eVora for Volvo B8R, eVoseti for Volvo B5TL/B5LH.

I have no idea if these buses will be good or not in service, but it is a very bad decision to stop producing in house bodies when all coach builders is going the other way. No Volvos to the home market for one year and then competing against integral built buses from both competitors and old partners such as Van Hool.... Scania has made the same decision now... So Sweden will only see foreign brands next year......
