I'm sorry but am I the only one who thinks they're lowkey so ugly?? 😭 I KNOW the intricacies of how painful, expensive, and time consuming regular pointe shoes can be - but does anyone else find a beauty in the artistry of the pointe shoe? the satin, the shine, the ribbons and elastics, it's all just so beautiful to me. since I've seen these be teased, I thought they were so damn ugly lol. and confusing. I truly get the "Balenciaga makes pointe shoe" comments. no hate, all love for ballet here! ❤ just wondering if anyone else finds the aesthetic of these super unattractive and kind of distracting when on?

I would take something that doesn’t look as pretty that helps prevent me from injures over the pretty traditional point shoe.

The more I look at them the more I like them. There's no point in comparing them to satin pointe shoes, they don't look anything like them. Especially from the front they look super sleek and seamless. Once they get the fabric and dye perfected they can most likely be customized into any color and potentially with shiny, glittery etc. fabrics. They have great potential or can inspire someone else to create something even better for the future of dance.

Not only are they pretty ugly but now that you are on them, they look like they are going to cause injuries.
